Only the Eggan Citizens that join you after you beat the Omelette King can break through those eggs!

Likewise, you'll see Legos only the Craftians can build with and Giant TV sets that only the citizens of TV Dinnah's Kingdom can destroy.

The Mounties you get after defeating Long Sauvage lob grenades that damage groups and I think they can open those steaming cracks in the ground the Farmers cannot.

With all these character types, its becoming increasingly annoying that you can only switch between them with one button on the d-pad.

Beat him!

Game really suprised me with the variation, the maze and the boss fights being so different. How do these Eggans come to my side then?

Now what do I do? The 4 star guardians are as hard as nails, even on easy.

I want to do more quests but the map is crap and I find it hard locating them sometimes. I got this memo and on the map it looks like its literally in the castle courtyard, but the memo said it was in the eggan kingdom? WTH?

The four-stars aren't as hard as they seem. They pretty much explicitly tell you when they are going to attack! Just watch for the signs, which is usually smoke coming out of their ears JUST before they attack. You just have to watch for the signs, attack when the opp arises, pull back when you feel it gets too dangerous and especially watch for the one-hit-kills.

The Frogs swallow you whole.
The Dragons/Dragon Delivery Service Tail swipe their tails in a circular strike.
The Giant Red Turnip turns your troops into Turnips.

If you gather enough Bol, make sure to re-organize your troops to have your Knights have the most healt, followed next by your archers --AND-- make absolute --SURE-- you are utilizing the Treasures --ESPECIALLY-- the ones that STUN; THEY are the most valuable!

____________________________________________

You DO realize that once you conquer a Kingdom, either a Fence opens up or a Bridge can be built that will take you directly there, right? It's entirely possible there is a quest in the Eggan Kingdom, now that you beat the boss!

The map gets better and better once you start clearing the clouds. I didn't have any problem with it, later in the game!

Oh wow, so there is a short way to get from my castle to the eggan kingdom and not via cannon?

So what should I be doing next now I beat the omelette king? Which boss should I take on next or should I be doing quests?

I would do enough quests until your kingdom is pretty much finished. That's what I did. The boss of the Primetime Kingdom is probably easier than the boss of New Island. The boss of New Island has a laser ray that can screw up your citizens' jobs, and his kingdom has a lot of tougher enemies.

Good tips. Now I have to beat these 4 star bosses. I think, I'm not sure but I think the Oni king popped up as a regular enemy guarding an airship piece.

Is there any way to get more life for the king? I have 3 notches.

I never came across any power-ups for the King; he had 3 notches through the end of the game.

So I played some more last night. Beat the mushroom guardian and built this royal district. Ooooh swanky. I sent some kids to the school and made them adults. I have advanced soldiers, which I love but I will miss the golden design of the normal soldiers so I always keep a 50/50 mix.

I cant beat the female oni woman guarding the ship piece so I circumvented her and just dug like made to get the part. It worked.

And I played up to the TV maze bit. So cool. This game gets better and better. I am nearing 20 hrs played.

Are there only 7 bosses in the game? At the Skull plains crossroads I beat the egg boss. I have an eggan guy in my citizen list how did that happen and how do I get more?

Immigration is automatic, from what I gather. You also get just one immigrant from each kingdom. You should probably do Mt. Sobomanjaro next, but be warned that it's pretty tough. There's no need to bring your soldiers for that, if you want to keep your death toll low.

Mount what? Is that the birdcage or TV place? You said before to do the TV one.

So only one guy comes? Can't I go and recruit some Eggans by waving my wand about?

You can flash your stubby little wand all over the Omelette Kingdom and there will be nary an Eggan to answer your call.

You get one and only one of each citizen from the other Kingdoms! You'll find, however, one is all you need. The Eggan, for example, breaks those humongous eggs in one shot, much like the Buff Lumberjacks take down those fallen trees.

The Birdcage? Do you mean the cage with the Undead Dragon? You can bust open the door and kill him at any time you think you are ready, just watch out for his Ice --AND-- Fire attacks --AND-- his One-Hit-Kills once you get in his cage!

Mount Sobamanjaro or TV Dinnah; it's your choice. Just remember once you finish them, New Island awaits, as does King Jumbo Champloo. HE gave me more trouble than the FINAL Boss!

So what happens if my one new citizen dies? Can he be replaced?

So there are more areas and bosses after you finish these two?

I will no doubt be back here when I have to face off with the dragon boss. Last night I was out in the Eggan kingdom at night and there were these sickle grim reapers. I threw a few guys into the mix to finish the little bastard off and he swiped and instantly fragged 5 of my guys.

What the hell???

Just look at your map. Are there still a lot of clouded areas? How many Kings have you defeated? Is the Princesses Castle full yet? It sounds like you have 3 Kingdoms left to go and then the Final Battle after collecting all the God Pieces from those mid-bosses!

Your Other Kingdom Citizens wash up on the beach after they are killed (which is rarely cause they serve very little purpose in battle)... As a matter of fact, no other Kingdoms citzs came with me TO the Final Battle.

That Undead Dragon is tricky, but really no more so than the Great Blue Ice Dragon you fight below that humongous crystal north of... Royal Town... Glamour Town... (One of those). Just be sure to equip some of your Knights with Hand Fans and Thermal Undies!

Oh shoot, the mid bosses.

Anyhow I was worried because you start off and the Oni king and sweet boss have their own large areas, even sunflower plains was tough going. But then once you reach skull planes its a short uneventful hop to the drunk boss. And then once you hit the crossroads you do a little maze and then the boss is right there and I'm worried that there aren't many places left to explore and they will just quick fire the bosses at me now.

I want this game to last forever, I love it. I'm 20 hrs in and doing sidequests too but some that are 2 stars or lower seem pointless.

Where do I get hand fans and undies from?

I think you get them from turning in the lost paintings to Ginger.

One good item was this bow that stuns enemies, even bosses.
