You never mentioned IGN and GS specifically in your previous posts. It was about overal GoTy winner.

You never had a point, you were wrong. Be a grown man an accept your wrongness. The only reason this 'discussion' lasted this long is because you are too stubborn to admit that you are wrong. Now you are trying to change your argument somewhat to 'win' this argument with some ad hominem attacks added to spice things up. This is not about winning any argument, you were wrong. Deal with it.

Your future wife is going to kill you one day.

Yes parts of my post were wrong the point still stands.

She will have to wait.

But pray tell, what is your point you are desperately trying to make?

Iga, I don;t know what tally you are looking at but Journey has only 2 votes so far in our thread. I'm not counting fansites, german-language sites etc...

Ah okay. Cause this thread, the one you are posting in, only has two votes.  I'll check the GAF thread to see if ther are any other notable sites and update if neccessary.

EDIT: Okay, just checked. No update required.

Notable sites you say? Might as well delete IGN and Gamespot then.

Obviously the simple comparison between the quality of games that won GOTY before and Journey. It doesn't matter where or who gave it GOTY but that it has from major game sites.

If you want to say Journey suck than you have my blessing. Look at Robio's post how to do it correctly.

Wait are we talking about Journey sucking again? Because it does.

You know what really pisses me off about the game? People talk about how wonderful it is because of the minimal narrative. Why is that such a big fucking deal? When I was a kid, I got the same experience whenever I rented an NES game that didn't have a manual with it. There was no explanation, no NPCs telling me what to do. All I knew is that I had to go forward. Press on and see what came next, and if I kept at it maybe I'd reach the end and figure out the goal and what I was doing. And the rest of the time I'd let me imagination fill in the blanks. But of course those games were better because they at least incorporated challenges like jumping and shit. So essentially Journey gets credit for doing that same exact thing with pretty graphics. Fuck it I say. Fuck it up the ass.

"So essentially Journey gets credit for doing that same exact thing with pretty graphics."

Video games getting credit for doing the same thing as games from decades ago with more modern graphics? Yeah, that is a strange and rare occurrence.

That was taken so out of context and so away from my point that I will not dignify it with a response.... besides that one right there.
