Couple of things I feel like mentioning, both likes and dislikes:
- This may be kinda morbid of me, but I LOVE how the big enemies kinda decompose in front of your eyes. First their skin melts away, then muscles, then bones are left for a while. Cool!
- I --LOVE-- how you can somewhat COMBINE MAGIC! If you are a Mystic Knight and you use a Fire/Ice/Holy/Lightning Enchant spell on your weapon, then you cast Magic Cannon or Perilous Sigil, they take on the element of your weapon! Makes taking out groups SOOO much easier!
- I --HATE-- how some quests JUST. WON'T. TRIGGER. sometimes! I am in the area of the Hillfigure Knoll, trying to hunt a Griffen, and the damn thing WON'T spawn!
- I was almost carried off by a Snow Harpy at one point. She lifted me up high enough where the drop would have been fatal, but I still was struggling before realizing that. When she dropped me, my main pawn leapt up and CAUGHT me mid air! THAT WAS COOL! The best thing of all is: my main Pawn is Arya Stark, so, naturally, she is a little girl! Seeing her leap up and catch me was as freakin' hilarious as it was awesome!
- I really don't get the whole thing with the Duke and LENORE! He should HATE me, but he speaks to me like I'm a hero and just opened his treasury for me. Will his behavior be explained eventually? Weird!
- With as much as the Pawns --CAN-- learn, it's strange what they cannot. Saying the same things about the same enemies 60 hours into the game is kinda getting played out at this point. Yes, I know Goblins i'll like fire. Yes, I know to set Harpies wings ablaze. Yes, it's a Large Tree. We already KNOW who the Knight's Champion is you MORON! SHUT! UP! ARRRRGGGGHHHH ! ! !
The game does have a few minor DMC like features to it in the battle system. Tapping the button may do one attack. Holding the buttons may do another. Tapping the button, delaying a second then tapping the button again, will yield yet another type of combo-ed attack. There are special skills that will throw your enemies straight up in the air where you may then leap up and attack mid-air. There are magic spells like the Perilous Sigil where any enemy that steps into the spells ring gets struck with a spell, depending on how light they are and how much damage they can endure they can (and will be) Juggled! Typical, classic Capcom-ie stuff!

New FAVORITE LINE IN A GAME EVER!
I've been having a lot of fun with the game. Too much maybe? I'm just under 60 hours and not done yet! I am about to go to the Great Wall to fight against Salvation. I am around Level 45 or so, but as an example of relative power levels... I tried to fight the Drake in DevilFire Grove last night... and got my ASS. KICKED!
Fear not Archie. I am playing more of Skyrim right now than Dogma, but I'll be back to this game shortly too... I am enjoying this way too much to let this one go! Your impressions? I see you on Live playing this quite a bit!
