I went to sleep in my home and a zombie woke me up, it started to attack me, how did it get in!!!

There is some kind of strange glitch where you MUST build your bed at least one space away from an outer wall. It also helps to keep any room you sleep in VERY, VERY well lit.
You are currently experiencing the survival horror portion of Minecraft.
Did you watch that 'Best Of' video in this topic yet? It is AMAZING! 
I don't think it's a glitch, but yeah. You need to space away your bed from walls. Make sure you don't have dirt floors or walls since those can also spawn baddies, and overdo it with the torches. There's never too may of them.

Trapped in the home again. Everytime I try to go to sleep a skeleton wakes me up. My bed is now in the middle away from walls. I still have some dirt walls so that is probably it. Anyway a while back I went out in the rain and a spider jumped on my head, freaked me out, I killed it. I was low on life and I had to run cause skeletons where shooting arrows at me. i saw what seemed like a dark cave area and like an idiot I ran to it. A creeper jumped out and blew me up. Now I respawned with all my stuff gone! I was kind of lost so I had to first find my home then retrace my steps. I found my items scattered around and a bunch of spiders and a creeper nearby. So I lured the creeper out , it blew up but didnt hurt me and I killed the spiders got my stuff and returned home, phew. Right now it is raining again and I have two zombies, a skeleton and I can hear a spider somwhere. I am not going out.
Is this game worth playing? Is it AAA?
Thanks for helping Travo and nice place you got, you have an entire town.
You see my shelter is cursed, zombies keep spawning. Screw it I am building a tower.

Yeah it is a pretty damn cool game and very addictive, Minecrack. BTW that's some great stuff there Travo.

I lost my inventory. 
I started to make a new home when it got dark and I totally got lost as to where my old home was. So I ended up getting lost in the woods with zombies chasing me, pitch black. I got cornered and killed by zombies, I spawned in my home but I had no clue where I was. I spent all day looking for my stuff but I have no clue where it is, needle in a haystack. I have found some awesome stuff though.
Hold your map in your hands and look down to see where you are. If you lost your map, invite someone in, they can drop their map, and you can keep that one.
