GG 4 is the Rachel episode.
That cutscene we saw online of rachel changing, that is not in the game.
Wait you use one eye with the rifle and it works? Shiiiiiiiiit. Really?

Acutuallu if you dont center your eye you end up missing the target. Which ever eye you close cause the center to move a certain direction away from the center. So unless you close your eye and center your eye on the screen you may miss your mark
- The story is crappy. Its told in an exciting way to keep your actions interesting but as a story that adds to the RE universe it sucks balls. Take away Chris and Jill and this game has little to do with anything.
- Combat sections where they throw a million enemies at you and you are basically on a flat arena. This is nothing like RE4/5 where every big action area is superbly designed to create a great action setpiece, here it is poorly done and its nothing but a shooting gallery.
- The Parker segment in episode 11, WTF!!! The game is super exciting, you are getting epic boss battles, its everything you want from a RE ending and then... you go back in time where you escort a dude while shooting hunters in small hallways with a pistol. It killed the mood, it was like running into a brick wall. Terrible.
- Puzzles? No moving around wires is not a puzzle, I guess the coin thing is the only thing that comes close. How do you go back to an old style and forget one of the key elements of the series. You have a touch screen with so many possibilities for puzzle. RE4 had better puzzles than this game, hell even RE5 at least had one good one.
- Great variety in situations and events. By the end I didnt know what the game was going to be throwing at me, it really kept me on my toes.
- Enemy design, I loved it, a return to T-virus like enemies. Rachel is one of the best designs in a long while and she chases you everywhere, so awesome!
- Great bosses! Loved the mix of giant monsters with more human mutated ones. Having a Tyrant at the end was so awesome.
- Graphics are incredible for the 3D. Amazing 3D effects. The soundtrack is amazing! Production values through the roof.
- The mood is a great return to horror. Genuinely creepy at parts especially with the way they use sound. The final chapter was perfectly done to create one hell of a freaky scene.
- Unlockables and extra modes. The game is stacked. I have had only a taste of raid mode but I know I will sink a huge amount of time into it.
- The difficulty was great on normal. It was just right to keep you on your toes throughout and not get cocky. Bosses offer a noticable spike in difficulty as they should. The game should be a great challenge on hell mode.
How the feck are you done with the game already? Do you play non-stop?
I play maybe an hour a day, but skip some days.
One thing we haven't mentioned is the dodge move. I really like it, it takes timing and is semi-difficult to pull off as it's not a 100% thing.
Also, I kind of cheat the game when I face multiple enemies. I take a position either elevated or behind an obstruction then either jump down or jump over said obstruction to block the AI bad guys from killing me.
Sometimes I feel like I'm cheating but if the game allows you to......... is it really cheating?
The rifle is cool for this too, if you level it up you get one hit kills.
No not cheating, do what you must to win.
Not sure if you guys care about this series the way I do so i will link this editoral I wrote. Its all about this series story has become pointless, I used to love the RE mythology but Capcom has failed it.
The uruboros shit should have stoppd with 4. It was funny there, but boring and annoying in 5.
^ you mean plagas, uroboros was only in RE5. Yeah I am very glad to see a return to t-virus monsters in RE6 and revelations.
What happens when you mix a loot game, RPG leveling and an arcade style gameplay with the RE4 formula, you get Raid mode.
Raid mode is the greatest extra mode in RE history. In fact I think it is better than the actual campaign. I have only begun to scratch the surface but I am so hooked. I must find the rare weapons, I must get all S-ranks.

That makes me feel better. Raid mode is cool for playing on the toilet.

I keep doing the levels and collecting tons of weapons but even though my rank is 6 I can't equip half the weapons.

Keep playing you level up quick, soon you will get powerful weapons. Don't forget the store, every time you enter the guns change, you may get something rare if you keep looking (though probably at higher levels).

Sweet! You will love it.
Archie, have you tried switching to gyro aiming in the options? Have you set the 3D depth to max in the options?
Have you tried the game in 2D? The aliasing is much better and the framerate is somewhat smoother too.

No. I'll try all that after. I think I'll prefer leaving gyro aiming off though. I kept the 3D effect at normal in the game and I keep the 3DS slider at about 25% as that's right around where I like it.
Iga if you close one eye when aiming it works perfectly, the game makes you act like you are really using a rifle!
