Bleh... it's Tekken who cares? But I've said it before the days of free online gaming are coming to an end.

Then the days of dipping my toe into online gaming is officially over.

I'd like to think it'll be a good thing and it'll balance itself out. Developers will stop adding meaningless or half-assed online content and maybe focus on building a better core experience. And the online games that are left will be truly great. I don't mind paying for online, so long as it actually is meaningful and offers something.
"That's how computers work."

Now they just need to upgrade the gameplay and level design and characters and writing and they'll be good.
"Why not just copy Nintendo."

Another good podcast guys.

EDIT:
Oh, and another thing to note with people playing multiple MMOs is not just paying for multiple subscriptions, but also the time investment. Keeping up with one MMO is hard enough, and it's pretty much impossible to play more than one MMO seriously.
Also WoW is not the only successful MMO that has been around for years. It's the only big western MMO that is successful and has been around for years. (Though RuneScape is still doing well, right?)

Furthermore, we're looking at doing "live impression" podcasts for the E3 conferences, as in when the conferences are going on, we're watching streams/reading liveblogs, and commenting on the show as it goes along. I'd love to get a lot more people in that one, so who wants to give it a shot?

Not sure if I can do it with all the conferences but I will definitely try for some of them.

No particular reason. I was looking for some 8-bit tunes that were royalty free and that one seemd to fit pretty good (plus it is not system-biased, and most people would not recognize it unless they were steeped in the history of awesomeness).

Noooo... You aren't going to be in the regular cast? That'll be like 3 weeks.
darthhomer said:So let's talk podcasts for the near future. We got one coming up this week. Who's in?
Probably no E3 casting for me, I'm almost out of bandwidth cap until the 19th. I'm saving what I have for the edit of the regular cast.
