I cant do that.
Thats from LBPcenteral, holy crap their tutorials are so helpful. I can make a Jedi sackbot who can use the force on stuff!
Can you make Sackboy fly on the back of a cork that explodes from a giant champage bottle?

Yeah that is probably really easy. Make a champage bottle out of glass. Make the cork a sponge so you can grab it. Put a timer on the cork that leads to a rocket or a mover that will shoot it out. Not sure what to use for the champage liquid animation but I am sure you can find something.
Should that be the end of my level?
Here are the characters I am going to try to include into the level. Leo is the central character. I think I will be the player guide, maybe not. I have sections for Raven, Archie, Iga. Steel will be hanging around looking for a fridge. I might give Yoda a cameo. GG will be mentioned in some way.
The rest of you, I got nothing, I could put you in the background or something but that would require me to make a character for each of you and that is a lot of work. This is not about favorites, its about what fits into my level, for instance I already have a super flying hamster prebuilt from the game so obviously that is a no brainer to include Raven.

It could be a good way to either start or end the level. Just have the cork take you over a large chasm, and it'd make for a kind of dramatic moment.
To get my idea across a little more check out this video from Do Re Mi Fantasy - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azlWN-4aE60&feature=related and start it at the 4 minute mark. Milon rides a series of champage bottles. In this case it's to help him go vertically through the level, but I think the design of how it could look and move you could still help.

Very interesting, thanks I may try something like that out.
There needs to be a batman section where you find some drugs at the end...followed by a drug-induced section.

I am afraid drugs will be against the E rating or something. But great idea.
Someone recreated Zelda 1 dungeon 1. It uses all the same sprites as Zelda, it has a working menu identical to the NES game. Its crazy. It doesn't control as smoothly but its very impressive. A full game could be made if they make Link move quicker and fix some collision issues.
^ It looks way better than that on TV.
I am finding that level design is kind of hard. Much props to the guys that build whole games with interesting levels.

Ah well! YOu can't make it private or something?

I want to become super famous and get hearted by people.
I will put up the first pics of the level after this post. Today I spent two hours just working on the mechanics of my next section. Basically everything goes dark, you cant see shit. You get a creatanator that shoots out fire (it doesnt really light up anything, its just there to have something to shoot). Now I will have the player shoot out fire to light up the plaforms. When fire hits the platform glows for a few seconds allowing you to see where you need to jump. I have also made an enemy that waits for the player to get close, it then catches fire, screams out and runs at the player like a crazy suicide bomber. You wont see it until it lights itself up, you have to be quick and jump over it.
So I have all that working, but what do I do with the layout. Should it have moving platforms. Should it be like a crazy maze. Level design is hard and I am thinking of many other situations right now, I am just wondering what you guys would find interesting.
"Meh!" the level is under construction. I forgot how much I hate making crap. We need to enter the future where I can voice what I want done and it happens, kind of like a boss in a development studio. But no, I need to spend like 20 minutes to make a damn platform move left and right. I fear for my sanity when I try to make the Igabot 9000. All that is done so far is the initial simple platforming section, meaning its nothing but timing jumps and some swinging. As the level goes on it will introduce all the new elements into the mix.
Lets have some fun with this, why dont you guys come up with a section of my level. Design a good platforming moment, I guess you can do it on MS Paint or something. Show where stuff is, and maybe a dotted line to show how the player moves in the section. Have little arrows to show movement of parts. Remember I have grappeling hooks, bouncepads, a hat that can shoot anything, and gloves that can pick up stuff.
