But he wants to kill everyone.
The whole modern twist on story-telling is to humanize the villian to make you empathize with him/her even more...
The only story in the last few years that didn't do this was The Dark Knight...
...they even went as far as to make the Joker make FUN of that kind of story telling, which in itself was AWESOME!!
The MOST effective way to make him seem Evil and Insane!
It's a game who ever told you it had to make sense? Trying to string these games together to make some kind of sense is like saying Star Trek or Star Wars makes some kind of sense its all just good fun. These writers, game makers, flim makers never tie the sequels together in any meaningful way that I can think of.
PS I meant to say fun not FU sorry.
Not always so! Some of the rare, few games that actually DID do this became some of the most memorable of ALL TIME...
Dragon Quest 1, 2 and 3... I am totally looking at YOU right now!
That was just AWESOME!
Japanese games almost never do it, but when they do... Wow!
Star Wars makes sense....
I agree they could do anything with the next game and it could be great but I did not like that ending. I feel it hurt the story more than it helped.
Archangel3371 said:Oh ok I see what you're saying about the ending there Vader. Yeah I'd rather see a sequel set in the past then one done in modern times. You guys are scaring me on the DLC but I'll still get it because I'm a sucker for anything Castlevania.
ITS SHORT.
But if you loved the games for the puzzles you will be in heaven for those short 2 hours. Its crazy cause CV has such great value and the DLC is as stingy as it comes.
I started Vanquish today and its not gripping me like I thought it would. It has excellent action and some of the set pieces are very well done. Boss fights have been epic in almost every way. Yet it seems to be missing some element that grabs me about action games. My favorite games are action/adventure so I like my action games to have more than just action unless the action is so well designed like in DMC, Ninja Gaiden, etc. This game is non stop action like the previously mentioned games but I cant find that action game hook, I don't feel myself advancing in skills nor do I see the combat going anywhere, I just seem to be shooting everything I see in slow mo. Its still relatively early so my thoughts can change.

No, its definetly a class better than Lost Planet. The action is fast and furious and it is fun as hell to play there just isnt as much to it as say a DMC. I would say this is trying to be the third person shooter version of DMC and where it fails mostly is that its mostly a cover shooter. You cant have fast and exciting when you have to be in cover so much. The game limits your turbo and slow mo a little too much and I feel that holds it back from truly entering a new form of shooter.
I am enjoying it much more now. The game is relentless, it never eases up and throws one insane set piece after another at you. It's like Sin and Punishment in that way and the title of that thread fits this game perfectly as well. I have fought some new enemies and bosses that were really cool and more than just cover shooting fights.
DLC SPOILERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
And once again he fights for good, so he becomes Dracula to save the world. This is stupid. Dracula is pure evil!
