I finally bought Forza Motorsport 8 Premium Ultra Deluxe Super Edition or whatever it's called with all the DLC included for $50 this morning.

I picked up Alan Wake Remastered this morning. I never played it when it originally came out. I think it was locked on the Xbox 360 and maybe PC when it first came out? Anyway, my only knowledge of the game is based on the DLC that sort of featured it in Control. Anyway, seems like it's up my alley so I will hopefully enjoy this.

I bought a copy of Dragon Quest Heroes 2. I started it a couple times on PSN, but never made it more than an hour or so into the game. Game. Saw that it was on Amazon for $12, so I figured I'd just go ahead and get myself a copy and I'll be more compelled to play through it.

Picked up a copy of Visions of Mana for the PS5. Was going to hold off and wait for a sale on it but only saw one copy of the game in my local Walmart and was gripped by FOMO on getting a physical copy of it.

That reminds me, fuck Square-Enix. They did a physical release for the PS4 version of visions of Mana for Europe and Japan. America? Nope. Digital only. That was going to be the one game I bought at launch this year, but I won't pay full price for anything digital. I still have issues with that concept.

PS4 isn't regon locked, unless Square locked out that game specifically, imports should work fine. Definitely sucks it's not released worldwide physically, though.

If I come across a well-priced EU version, I may pick it up, but I'm not going to jump through any hoops to get it. And ultimately I will get a PS5 one of these days, so if I still feel like I need a physical copy I can just get it for that.

Looks like I'm getting Final Fantasy XVI on PC. I also bought Disco Elysium so I didn't have to rely on Foolz's Steam account.

I bougth Kid Niki: Radical Ninja (Arcade Archives) for Switch. I've seen the name of this game come up every so often but I have never played it or the NES port. Decided to give it a go today. It's challenging. I'm enjoying it so far but I wish I could disable the music, lol.

Last night I bought Arcade Archives Vs. Excitebike (Switch). It's quite a bit different from the NES version.

I bought Epic Mickey Rebrushed (PS5) this morning 5am. I woke up, fed the dog, and realized today was the 23rd aka Epic Mickey day! However, it doesn't unlock until 7:00am, which is when I leave for work. Sad

Get good, and perhaps one day you can challenge the might of my 5th grade video game club, The Kid Niki Force.

It's funny. I  often think that when I play an old arcade game, I should be at lot better now than when I was a kid since I've have an additional 40+ years game playing experience but it doesn't translate that way. I'm usually a lot worse now. LOL

Be sure to give impressions. I'd like to get it as it's a mainline Zelda game, but I worry I won't like the gameplay loop.

A new mom and pop video game store just opened up not far from my house. It's the strangest place in the world, because it's wedged in between a 7-Eleven and a jiffy lube. I wouldn't have noticed it either except that he had a giant inflatable Mario outside of the store, and that pretty much drew me in.

Anyway, I picked up a copy of Resident Evil Revelations 2. I could have gotten a digital version of it for five bucks, but I like to help local stores if I can, and hell I still prefer physical to digital.

That said, this guy probably needs to work on being a little more professional. He was having a conversation with a girlfriend or wife who seemed to be a pain in the butt. And once it was over he yelled across the store at me and the one other customer that we should never get into a relationship.

I finally got around to buying Sunset Riders Arcade on Switch. I'm really enjoying this one tonight.
