Speaking of arcade games, I'd love the opportunity to play TMNT the Arcade Game again. Hell, I'd invite you guys for a co-op game night if it ever goes on sale again.
This weekend I made it about halfway through Bug Fables, a wonderful Paper Mario clone. In fact, I prefer it over sone of the newer, gimmicky Paper Mario games. Ive been playing it for tge whole month of February. Its not a long game, but I only get to play on weekends these days. Work and family life have been consuming.
robio said:I picked up Suikoden 2. I'm not sure why I never got this before. I enjoyed the original, but never pulled the trigger on any others. If I recall, there was always a lot of complaints about a weak translation for this game, and that may have pushed me away. But over the years, this game is apparently gotten a reputation as one of the best on the ps1. So definitely time to check it out.
Really enjoyed that game myself. Suikoden V is my favourite of the franchise. That one was for the PS2 and was fantastic. Really wish Konami would rerelease that one on current systems.
robio said:That's interesting. I thought the series ended at IV. Had no idea there was one more.
I think V was the last unless there were some mobile games or spinoffs. I think there was even a Suikoden Tactics game. Not sure when that came out or on what systems.

did you read any reviews? Seems that the game is a visual first and foremost, a strategy game second.

No didn’t read any of the reviews. Interesting though.

Checked out a couple of reviews. It sounds like it’s a very slow start and that there is a lot of narrative to this game. It may be awhile before I really dive into this though as I’m heavily focused on Elden Ring right now.
Downloaded Samurai Shodown Neo Geo Collection on Xbox for half price, $26 CDN, during their Retro sale.

Nice get especially for that price. Nintendo had it available for a free trial period for Online Subscribers just recently as well.
My copy of Elden Ring for Xbox arrived today. Woo hoo!
