A Shanghai cinema advertised 'Thor: The Dark World' by displaying a photoshopped poster of Loki and Thor sharing a cuddle, which they used instead of Marvel's designated, less incestuous, creation.

The fan-made image shows the brothers, who pit their wits against each other for a third film in the 'Thor' sequel, sharing a sweet and warm embrace, with Loki even grinning profusely while he backs into his sibling's chest.

Meanwhile, Thor looks to protect his adopted kin, while also giving off a stern look to anyone who would even dare cause him harm. It would be sweet, if they weren't brothers.

It has since been revealed that the already infamous photo was created by Reddit user bbqfish2012, who, after she discovered its newfound popularity, wrote, "Damn it! If I were paid 1 yuan each time the photo is retweeted, I would be rich."

The poster, which sees Loki take the place of Natalie Portman's Jane Foster within Thor's grasp, looks to have been ripped straight from a rom-com, and its circulation has lead fans to speculate that Marvel might be about to release a bromantic drama that revolves around the pair's torrid love affair.

Clearly, bbqfish2012 picked up on the palpable chemistry that has radiated between Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, who play Thor and Loki respectively, throughout 'Thor,' 'The Avengers,' and now 'Thor: The Dark World.'

At a recent press conference the pair even declared their love for each other, whith Hemsworth admitting, "There's certainly a shorthand we have from this being the third film we've shot together now. We pick up where we left off and have developed a great friendship along the way."

He then added, "From the beginning we were lucky. We just had a chemistry and the same kind of enthusiasm." Look, I'm getting chills.
