Jamie Foxx In Talks To Play SPIDER-MAN 2 Villain Electro
Donnie Yen Is The Master
Donnie Yen is set to start shooting a new martial arts movie in January entitled 'Enter The Master'. Set in a US Chinatown location, the film will see Yen playing a former fighting ace who must decide whether or not to come out of hiding when a friend (Nicholas Tse) puts him in the middle of a Triad war.
'Enter The Master' will be written and directed by Chan Hing-Kai ('All's Well, End's Well 2012'), with Yen handling the action choreography. Production and sales will be dealt with by Emperor Motion Pictures Ltd.
Although Yen and Tse have worked together before (on 'Dragon Tiger Gate' and 'Bodyguards And Assassins'), Emperor's CEO Albert Lee says that "Enter The Master will take the collaboration a step further by pitting the two directly against each other, both emotionally and physically."
Meanwhile, Emperor have also unveiled two other exciting projects this week - 'Ip Man: The Final Fight' starring Anthony Wong and Dante Lam's new cop thriller 'That Demon Within'.
Greatest fight choreographer of all time Yuen Wo Ping to Direct Action Trilogy VIGILANTES
Oh Gawd... it's a english language western film
News out of AFM reveals that legendary martial arts choreographer and filmmaker Yuen Wo Ping is teaming up with Dragon Star Pictures to direct the first of a planned trilogy of action thrillers, entitled Vigilantes - The Lost Order. The Canadian-Chinese co-production, from Dragon Star and Yuen's own Film Can Production, is scheduled to begin production next year, and is being touted as The Matrix meets Wall Street.
Vigilantes - The Lost Order is a contemporary-set English language martial arts extravangza that follows Tess, a kick-ass heroine on a mission of vengeance. Orphaned as a young girl by a murderous secret hit squad, Tess grows up to become an assassin who goes searching for those responsible, only to uncover a global financial conspiracy.
Birch Tree Entertainment is handling worldwide sales of the project and is representing the film at AFM. Vigilantes promises stunning action sequences and will showcase Yuen's unparalleled ability to create award-winning fight scenes together with a polished storyline.
The prospect of Yuen at the helm of a major English language action franchise is certainly an intriguing one, but the success or failure of this project is likely to come down to a combination of a strong, well-developed script and some astute casting in the crucial lead role.
Electro is gonna be black? It feels like they are just trying to squeeze in different races of people to appeal to the mass market. I mean I suppose it dosen't matter one way or the other but having grown with Spiderman comics it seems strange to me. Not bad or anything just strange.
Anyways I just watched Sinister. Not a bad movie, very entertaining and engaging all the way through. It features some brilliant music that really sets the atmosphere of fear I was really impressed with the soundtrack. The acting, story and setting are all good it's hard to find much to complain out other than it has a very predictable twist (which most people should figure out the ending halfway through the movie) and it also features perhaps one of the stupidest main characters in a horror movie since ever. I can not go into why though without going through spoilers. These things aside I still thought the movie overall was very entertaining and would say its an 8/10
Yeah black Nick Fury, black Electro. Both in the Ultimate line of Marvel comics.
Nothing wrong with it in ethnic terms, but it seems kinda gimmicky to me to take a well established character and say: guess what, he's black now! To get attention. I haven't read the comic though, it's probably an all new person who becomes the new electro. To me Electro will always be the guy in the goofy star face mask.
Some of you guys were looking forward to this movie right?
Review: THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS Goes Direct to "Meh"
An awkward love letter to martial arts movies, The Man With the Iron Fists fills its running time with nearly every genre staple imaginable: spurting blood, severed limbs, poison darts, flying children, Buddhist training, bathing prostitutes, invincible villains covered in CGI armor, dialogue that sounds like it was translated badly from English into Chinese and then back into English by someone who speaks neither language and then dubbed into English by a non-native speaker. Oh, and Pam Grier.

New G.I. Joe Retaliation Trailer Has More Plot, Not Necessarily More Tatum
I checked out Wreck It Ralf last night. Enjoyed it quite a bit. The big complaint I hear over and over is that they spend too much time in the candy themed racer game of Sugar Rush, but I didn't think it was a bad thing. At some point the constant game cameos and references had to take a back seat for the story to progress. And everytime things start to slow down and you get tired of the scenery and jokes there, they do something to shake it up and change things up just enough to make it pretty good again. Not exactly a classic, but well worth seeing in the theater. And the very final scene of the credits was absolutely awesome, though anyone other than hardcore Pac-Man fans won't really care about it or probably even get it. Anyway good times. Go see it.

Trailer For 'The Grandmasters'
The trailer has been released for 'The Grandmasters', the upcoming Ip Man biopic directed by Wong Kar Wai ('Ashes Of Time'). The film stars Tony Leung Chiu Wai in the titular role and is set to focus around Ip Man's life in Hong Kong just as he was establishing himself as a martial arts master.
Synopsis
With martial arts getting more popular in the 1930s, people flocked to learn them from the professionals at Foshan in Southern China. In an attempt to prove their worth, some of the experienced masters like to challenge their counterparts and take part in a series of battles. To help retain their concentration, it is their practice to lock up the venues and no one is allowed to leave until it is over. No food and no rest before reaching any results.
Ip Man is a young, rich man who is extremely talented in martial arts, but he chooses to keep a low profile. However, this doesn’t keep him out of trouble as one day he is trapped in this battleground and he has to use every means in order to get out of there. After comfortably winning his encounter, the masters are amazed by his abilities. Master Kung and his daughter Kung Yi are amongst the crowd, and the latter is attracted to the mysterious newcomer.
Meanwhile, when a high warlord is assassinated by his own guard Yi Xian Tian, all of the masters in Foshan vow to take Tian down no matter what...
'The Grandmasters' co-stars Zhang Ziyi, Song Hye-Kyo and Chang Chen. The film is currently scheduled for release across China on the 18th December, 2012.
Daniel Craig Tries To Quit As Bond, Says People 'Could Wipe Their A**' With His Contract
Daniel Craig's James Bond is a little bit of a tortured soul, and it seems that part of that isn't just the star's acting talent but is due to the actor being tortured himself about whether he wants the role, and has said that he has even tried to quit as 007.
In an interview with Rolling Stone the actor said of playing 007: "I’ve been trying to get out of this from the very moment I got into it."
It's a very different message than the one Craig's been giving as he's promoting the movie, as he's been outwardly enthusiastic about his role as the suave secret agent.
However it seems that he would've jumped ship from the Bond franchise, but wasn't allowed to as he added: "But they won’t let me go, and I’ve agreed to do a couple more, but let’s see how this one does, because business is business and if the [bleep] goes down, I’ve got a contract that somebody will happily wipe their a** with."
That's a little glum from Dan, after all his new outing as Bond has broken British box-office records by taking £50m in the quickest time ever and is set for a US release this week.
It seems though that 'Skyfall' has made him more upbeat about being Bond as he praised the film at its premiere (although he could hardly say otherwise) . The moody admission to the magazine indicates that the actor maybe as conflicted about being his alias as the character is himself.
Dvader said:Oh go fuck yourself Craig, nobody knew who the he you were before becoming Bond, be happy for the role of a lifetime.
This is false.
Dvader said:Iga_Bobovic said:This is false.
Nobody in America knew who you were. There happy.
I did not realize I am popular in America
And Craig was an accomplished actor before Bond. Sure it made him more famous, but still he was out there.
Craig is a donkey raping whore and needs to stop being Bond right the fuck now.
robio said:Craig is a grandma raping whore and needs to stop being Bond right the fuck now.
Fixed.
Yet more American ignorance of his previous roles!
