Ugh that large spinning circle on the last level...I still haven't passed it.
That was such an awesome level, yeah it was hard but so well done.

True enough. That part, though...rage!
Dvader said:Again there is a story campaign with a start and ending. No need to ever get online.
Yeah, but everything I've heard about the story mode is negative. I won't regurgitate what I've heard. Keep in mind I absolutely fuckin' suck at 2d platformers to start with. (Never finished a 2dmario or sonic yet).

*facepalm*
It's something I just can't do. (yet).
aspro said:There is neither a face nor a palm large enough for people who watch me play old sonic and mario games. It's truly hilarious. In mario I putter along like an old lady and when I jump it looks like a turtle playing hopscotch, I'm so careful not to hit one of the bad guys, and then I do anyway. In Sonic, it's the sound of rings constantly bouncing out of my body.

OMG facepalm.
Beta blowout!
All the videos are in this youtube channel, here are just a few (taken from gaf):

Creatinator + Bouncepads = Crude Double-Jump (actually multi-jump)

Go Kart Racing looks awesome & frustrating

Does your game have a laser pidgeon, no. LBP2 does. LBP2 wins.
The videos are mostly rough levels as expected from the beta but oh so much potential.
Holy shit Geometry Wars, perfect!
RPG concept, he got a item menu to work.
gamingeek said:But it's just minigames.
Quiet you. Imagine going to the greatest variety show on Earth, you have the widest arrange of acts you can think of. Navigating LBP is just like that.
Foolz said:No, the acts are good.
So it's Britain's Got Talent, the game
gamingeek said:So it's America's Got Talent, the game.
I watched the final of AGT before I wrote that so it was fresh in my mind. I can't believe Fighting Gravity and that little opera girl lost. Still the singer dude was amazing.
Anyway yeah it is kind of like that, if the stage sucks instead of buzzing you quit the stage. You will find shitty ones but you will find those that you want to give a standing ovation to.

Swap between powers on the fly
Now those two are game changers. Now we can have power ups. This opens doors to Metroid or Zeldaish kinds of experiences.
For me LBP has been a game I like a lot more in theory (thinking about it, or talking about it) than in practice (actually playing it).
