DMC2: I'm up to the 4th chapter right now, and so far it's fine. And the tranny has been replaced by a hot latina.

You must be thinking of another series. DMC2 is considered one of the worst sequels of all time, it is the example used by almost everyone when describing a bad sequel.
Is it easy to beat, I don't remember, I think so. It has multiple difficulties I am sure.
Yeah like Vader I stay pretty current in my gaming so I never play a series back-to-back, at least when playing those games for the first time. I have played some back-to-back on replays though and found it to still be an enjoyable experience.
