Nope
Beat The Last of Us Part II and I really enjoyed the story. Definitely an emotionally heavy game but I was completely invested in it all the way through. Despite having spoiled myself on the story when it first came out I still really felt the emotional back and forth I had towards the characters. Terrific performance by the actors portraying them.
My daughter is playing Thank Goodness You're Here to completion for the third time!
George Burns had a dirty joke about that. Here is Carl Reiner recounting it on Conan:

1 minute 40 seconds in.
How is it?
It's fantastic. Probably not quite appropriate for a six year old but she doesn't get the double entendres.

It is quite unique, so a bit hard to put in a genre box.
First the art style is amazing, and I love watching her play it just because ti si so entertaining visually. It is also legitimately funny.
Kind of like a point and click platformer but very relaxing. Problem solving that is twisted, but not arcane.
Shortish, about 3 hours, more if you go hunting achievements.
Absolutely is. And made by boys from the North too.
Link Spoke in Latest Game but then... Devs took it out because, "but it felt too wrong"
This could only ever have worked if all he ever said was 'Well excuuuuuse me princess'
Also acceptable: “Bitch, please!”
Been playing this gem of a game I bought for £2.
Manual Samuel.
You play as this guy who dies and makes a deal with death. You have to function as a living corpse and control yourself manually for 24 hours.
It's hilarious, you have to use button controls to move your character. So a shoulder button to move one leg, the other to move the other leg.
You have to blink and even breathe in and out. Your body flops about and there's a narrative commentary, fully voiced that narrates all the things you do and mistakes you make.
It's an adventure game. Same devs have a demo out for their next game the Holy Gosh Darn which is different but similarly appealing.
So the latest Switch 2 "leak" from Nash Weedle says that Switch 2 will have two different power modes in portable play.
A battery optimised mode and a performance mode. But only those two.
Given how most powerful handhelds bleed dry in like an hour, is this really a good choice?
I guess playing it plugged in will be good. Switch should have had an unchained performance mode. Because the screen is only 720p, they could have used the extra performance for increased resolution and better framerates.
Playing Switch 1 games handheld on Switch 2 will be great, if it uses the 1080p screen and DLSS.
Okay, I see now how my upcoming weekend will go 👍
More racing games?
Yeah, probably ... and some Warcraft!
And the Switch Batman Trilogy games can now be purchased individually.
I bought and started Mario & Luigi Brothership. so far it's pretty underwhelming. It looks like a decidedly B-effort, which is not something you'd associate with Nintendo's crown franchise.
The characters speak in Animal Crossing like jibberish, but not all the time. The graphics are unimpressive where you'd expect them to be lush and ripe with detail. Very little of the environment is animated, which makes it all feel flat and more like a set. Different elements are also not fitted together with care. In Mario games edges will often be rounded and there'll be small details where say a grassy area leans against a stone wall. Here they're just coldly joined. Animation also feels off, especially on the brothers themselves.
Worst of all the writing isn't witty at all, which is a shame for a Mario RPG. I'd call it functional at best. Could be part of it is down to sloppy translation, but It's a real shame.
I'll stick with it some more, but if it doesn't improve I'll consider looking up how long the game is and if I really want to invest my time in it. Which is an odd thing to have to say about a Mario game.
That's disappointing. Sounds pretty bland. I thought of gifting it to my children for Christmas but they seem only interested in Roblox and Zelda.
Yeah, I think I’ll pass on Mario & Luigi Brothership.
