Yes, even more so because the quality of the story is the main reason to play these games!
From what I played in the demo and from interviews the story is all done by the Zelda team and Koei Tecmo doing the game design. So it felt really authentic to BOTW.
I just saw that the DK game only launches mid July. That's the game I'm most interested in, so I might just wait a bit and not pre-order at the moment.
Universal is planning a theme parc in Bristol, UK. Hopefully that'll include a Mario section. Would save me a trip to Japan or the US as the kids keep nagging me about going there.
I've had a CRT tv stowed away in the attic for a couple of years now, waiting for renovation works to end and enough stuff to have been moved around so I could place it under our living room TV. Today was the day. I brought it down (heavy motherfucker), cursed when it dawned on me it was heigher than I had expected, neccessitating that I move all my GC, Wii and WiiU games, and put it in the cabinet. I switched it on and was greeted by a disconcerting buzz that doesn't seem to go away. I'll try blowing some pressurized air through it later to see if I can get rid of the buzz. If not I fear I'll just have to toss it out.
He says that Nintendo will have no standard price and that they will price games based on what they feel it's worth.
He said my world price is not setting a precedent and that other Nintendo games will be cheaper.
It's kind of like with the Wii U when they brought in lower priced first party games like Captain toad and Kirby's rainbow curse. Except this is going in the opposite direction.
New Star Wars from Respawn is reportedly called Star Wars: Zero Company
08.04.25 - The Star Wars game in the works at Respawn is said to be called Star Wars: Zero Company. This is reported MP1ST.com with reference to unspecified sources.
According to the report, the presentation is planned for 19.04.25, when the Star Wars Celebration takes place in Japan. First internal screenshots show a turn-based tactics game with isometric perspective. You can see characters such as Mandalorians, a droid and stormtroopers.
The scene is set in a rescue mission. It takes place in an industrial environment. The Kafrene Mining Colony serves as the central location. There is an in-game node with areas such as Armory, Holotable, Special Operations and Black Market.
The title was in development internally under the name "Bruno". Content details are limited so far. However, the concept has a clear focus on tactical group management. Respawn and EA have not confirmed the report.
A 90 day pause on the tariffs seems like it puts Nintendo in a rough spot. Things can still go either way after 90 days but Nintendo needs to figure out the price real soon since they are sticking to the June 5th launch. They should probably keep the initial price the same and hope for the best.
Just read an article in which was claimed that should apple bring production of the iPhone to the US the price would rise by 300%.
Trump doesn't have the patience to see this through. It'd take years for companies to bring production to the US. I'm sure every big company is thinking the same. I'm sticking with my assumption that this is just a move to get the higher ground in negotiations, but if other countries show patience and resolve, this could backfire big time.
I feel I need to play it at some point.
Just managed to pre-order switch 2 thanks to a Resetera thread.
I was worried that I'd have to wait weeks or months more after launch given demand.
Got the Mario kart bundle, saved £55 off the physical price. Fuck it.
Now that I have a lot of stuff to trade in, I'm hoping to preorder with Gamestop...sometime.

Last game I have left is DK64
UK Switch 2 editions are £65 here.
I don't have many Switch 1 games I don't already own that I want on Switch 2.
Maybe Kirby. But I'd rather buy used and buy the upgrade fee for most.
No but I have enough floor anyway.
The Canadian pre-order for the Switch 2 has been delayed to align with the US date. That sucks.
It doesn’t like naughty words.
I don’t like it either. Sometimes it’ll try and change “hell” to “he’ll” on me.
I always turn off autocorrect. I don't need a digital aid to make typ'os.

I want to get Cyberpunk but I need to see if it ends up performing decently enough.

So are videogame tarriffs on pause for ninety days. Quick, let me preorder!
Was wondering if you guys have tried Ai the Somnium files series?
They announced the 3rd game at the Switch 1 direct. It's PC and Nintendo only.
The older games I believe are on PS and Xbox too.
I bought the first on sale and loved it. It's a fully voice acted Phoenix Wright style game without the trials and often hilarious.
It deals with dark themes but then adds the ludicrous. I bought the sequel the Nirvana Initiative but haven't started it yet.
Anyone tempted to jump in? I think the first game is like $5 recently.
The Switch version is quite jaggy though, so other versions might be better. I'm using Mclassic on it, it helps but it's not a cure all.
