The gyro doesn't work properly in portable mode. But I'm guessing you're playing docked.
Docked and Switch 1 Pro controller. No gyro. DK's camera messes with me somewhat. I think I'm lined up well, but it'll throw to the left or right of target. I just need to practice it more, throwing seems to be a major part of the gameplay that I didn't expect.
I caught the flu on Wednesday, and it's been kicking my ass ever since. Couldn't focus enough to play anything, but once I was able to stay awake for more than an hour at a time I opted to make this a movie weekend. Did you try mouse mode? It's supposedly very good.Not yet. I havent even tried it with Metroid yet.

This weekend I became an asshole in the form of a goose in Untitled Goose Game. I also ventured out into tge old west in Red Dead Redemption.

She had a major heart attack and is in the critical condition ward. She's recovering but needs an operation soon.
At least she caught it in time and has been assessed. Rather than a sudden death. She may be able to be discharged this week.
