So this No Man's Sky Switch 2 launch trailer is crazy to me.
Mark from Switch up is a big fan of the game so I ended looking at Switch 1 footage a lot even if I was never interested in the game.
The extent to which they've reworked the game for over a year in secret, for free is incredible at times.
I'm very happy with where the system has ended up technically.
1440p seems like a great resolution aim, a lot of people can even mistake it for 4k.
The battery in Switch 2 has been found to be a fast charging one, but Nintendo said nit takes 3 hours to charge.

I have no idea. It certainly looks great. My son is trying out Windwaker and it even looks pretty nice.
Leave Binesh alone. I called him and he guaranteed I would get my Switch 2 and he was right. I think he pulled some strings.
The OLED build quality is so far above the OG switch that my feelings towards the OG model have soured.
I was honestly wondering if switch 2 could top its build quality and design, but it seems to be doing that already.
A revision would probably be OLED with more storage space and a die shrink to increase battery.
BotW loads in about three seconds.
I saw the fast travel, it's a shame the loading animation is long.The actual loading is quite fast, then you have to watch and listen as Link rematerialises for a few more seconds.
BTW switch 2 carts aren't the same as switch 1. They are faster loading but not as fast as micro sd express cards CDPR said.
So they must be a new format or type, not just switch 1 carts, that must be why they cost even more.
Player essence said on switch 1 the max cart size was 32gb and only a handful of games used it. Most games had hefty additional downloads, so if any switch 2 game is using a 64gb cart they're going above and beyond virtually everyone else.

Just got back from my local Walmart with a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle! Woo hoo! Feels good to be able to walk into a store and buy a console on launch day.
I fiddled around with Odyssey. Can you choose between performance or resolution? I didn't see an option.
Feels like everyone has one except me.
Would have been easier to go to a store in the morning and get one over the counter.

Refuse to do it till I do the system transfer.
It's saying its going to transfer and remove my Splatoon 2 and Animal Crossing save data from my OLED so I can't play on it there.
I don't mind but the Splatoon and Animal Crossing downloaded data will take up a huge chunk of Switch 2s hdd.
Build quality of the system is great, even above the OLED, very premium.
Huge though.
