Good. I was feeling a bit shorthanded by the meagre 12 tracks on offer. I don't know how I feel about 15. I'd be much more comfortable if they added 6 tracks bringing the total to 18. And that'd still be only half of those in RMX on Switch.
Also: while the tracks are good, they're less distinct than those in RMX. There you had tracks set on the outside of a tube, or with bits where you were soaring through space.
Lol I had to translate Kanji via Google camera to setup a Japanese Nintendo account and redeem my Ace Prosecutor from a Japanese eshop page in Kanji
Now only the Japanese user seems to have access to this bonus music? The game card for it is on "his" page not my regular account.
So now I have to play with this alt account to get the music?
Yes I know, I wasn't online back when I was a 360 gamer. No wireless Internet lol and wired controller, no HDD. That was fun.
I'm hoping Microsoft put that Rare collection on Switch 2.
Niiice thanks
I find the tracks to be lacking vs Fzero GX.
These FAST games seem to be on the brink of being something better, they need to inject more personality into the games.
For me they've almost become like games I buy at launch cause they're cheap and tech demo like with how good the visuals are.
...
*crickets*
Well it is VR so..... meh.
It's also $100 more expensive than a regular Quest 3S, so you're basically paying in full for that Xbox controller and 3 months of GamePass. I'd much rather just own a non-Xbox branded 3S and just buy a controller and gamepass.
I've noticed a visual inconsistency in Mario Kart World, of the calibre that no amount of DLSS wizardry will be able to solve: brake lights and reverse lights don't work. You'd think that through all of the playtesting and with the amount of people who have been working on this, someone would have noticed this.
Not sure if sarcasm...
I didn't even notice that the vehicles had lights on them.
What are your favourite free roam challenges?
I liked the one where you do all these stunts up a bridge, flip over and come to the upper level.
What kind of escorts are you picking up?
Someone questioned DFs "sub-par" switch 2 display framing.
DF tweeted that the person didn't know what they were talking about.
Then Df posted a Japanese deep dive into the screen to prove their point about the guy being told he didn't know what he was talking about.
Then it was found once translated the Japanese article was overall impressed by the screen, saying "the image quality was like a high end gaming monitor"
Then when twitter questioned whether there was a panel lottery as they had analysed the screen with specialist equipment and it was nowhere near as bad as what was claimed, DF then changed their stance to, it may not be the panel but the way Nintendo is "running" it and it could be improved with firmware.
It's suspected by other people that battery life is being prioritised.
But John straight up said "the panel sucks".
I don't get it myself, the only problem I've noticed is that they won't let switch 1 games run at 1080p in handheld mode.
Certainly not sarcasm. It's nitpicking, but my comment stands. I can't believe nobody raised this issue up during development. I recall the lights working properly in MK8, although I haven't checked...
As for Free Roam: I haven't played much of it. I need defined challenges in my games. Just giving me tools to enjoy myself without a clear goal never works for me.
edit: I'd love for a kind of Mario Maker Knockout mode level editer though. I guess an AI driven knockout track creator would work well too, but Nintendo would never do that.
Hey Geek, Just so you know I'm not doing any Nintendo stories, that's your beat. If you stop reporting on them let me know as I just glance at the sources now and figure you'll cover it so I leave it alone.
EDIT: Unless it is a quirky one like the one I just posted.
Jebus Christ. For the last few years IGN's news feed had been 70% F'n Marvel news. To quote Howard Stern, "Who gives a shit who gives a fuck?"
IGN has been desending into mass media coverage for over 2 decades now. I don't think I've been there in the last 20 years. What worries me most is that they bought over Eurogamer. So far it hasn't impacted their spirit and work ethos it seems, but I can't imagine this to stay true in the long run.
In a broader sense playing free roam also unlocks mirror mode and new character outfits.
So I haven't been able to stop thinking about this video where this guy got a magsafe battery and stuck it on the back of his switch 2.
I get around 2.5 hours out of playing Cyberpunk.
I didn't buy that chunky thing up top. I went for the lowest capacity 5000mah one as I wanted it as light as possible and slim.
It's charging now, it's about the size of a credit card and comes with a magnetic ring sticker to attach it to switch 2 or whatever you want really.
The Switch 2 battery is a similar size so I should get 4 hours bare minimum playing an intensive game like Cyberpunk.
So the overall life would go from 2-6 hours to 4-12 hours?
I haven't personally experienced any game so far that gives the 6 hour battery life Nintendo had listed. Maybe for 2D switch 1 games?
The battery is only around 100g
Here's mine:
Who's getting this.....
I probably will for that price. I've been itching to try out the mouse controls.
Welcome tour would be a better way to try it surely?
You sure about that?
