I've been curious about that game for a long time but I haven't picked it up yet.
I bought it close to release. It's a very difficult game, in that you'll 'solve' the first 5-second bit after 10 attempts, then the following bit after 15 because you fumbled the first bit 5 times, and so on and so on. I completed a couple of levels but then just gave up.
There was a similar game released some time later with white demons or something or other that was supposedly more forgiving.

I just can't play this game.
There's a demo if anyone wants to try it. If I bought it with no demo I'd be like, wtf is this?
There's a 2D game called KatanaZero I want when the price drops but I'm worried it might be similar.
This weekend I finished Leon A playthrough of Resident Evil 2 Remake on the PS5 version. Such a good game. Have also been playing Avowed on the XSX through Game Pass. Seems like a pretty good game so far. Nice looking visually and the combat feels solid enough.
I still have to play through RE3, but aside from that, I've played all of the remakes and all of the modern Resident Evil games. And I think I can say that RE2 is now my favorite in the series. I think it's perfectly balanced, and just the right length.
I need to get this off my chest regarding platformers.
How can you still be f-ing up the wall jumping in games this many decades after its invention.
So you want me to press the stick towards the wall I'm currently touching to bounce in the opposite direction?
Yet when I press jump, because the stick is facing towards the wall I'm currently touching I head right back to that wall and can't bounce off the opposing wall.

I'm hoping they port and sell RE2, RE3, RE4 RE7 and RE8 to switch 2 and sell them as cheaply as they sold re5, re4 etc

I'm sure they will. Right now on the PS4 there's an RE2 and RE3 remaster combo that is regularly on sale for $15. If Capcom supports the switch 2. As much as I think they will, it seems like a no-brainer.
This weekend I've been playing Beyond Good and Evil and Super Mario Wonder. This morning I restarted Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts from the beginging; I've been playing it all day so far.

Yeah it really is such a great game. It’s got excellent replay ability with the two characters and an alternate path for them. Loved that about the original as well. Resident Evil 3 Remake isn’t as good but is still a fairly fun game in its own right.
I juggled A Boy and His Blob, Epic Yarn, and Kirby's Return to Dreamland this weekend. And over the last week I made $5.29 streaming. So to celebrate I'll be buying Rayman Legends again since it's on sale for about $4.
i am going to try something new here, but I think we used to do it in an old gamespot union I was in and branch out the weekly "What Did I Play" Feel free to join in next week if you want as I've gotten in late this week. Shits been real, let's just leave it at that.
What Played: Spiritfarer, for about an hour. No time to play this week with injury recovery. What Read: Reading a book about Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger of Berkshire Hathaway fame. What do I get from it? Insurance is a very rewarding scam that has funded all their other investments making them "geniuses" What Listening: This week I've started listending to traditional japanese bamboo flute music as I learn breathing exercises to relax my body (as part of the recovery). Not sure if beathing exercies equate to mediation -- I assume so? What Podcast?: This week my favorite podcast is "Who are These Podcasts". They takedown and goof on podcasts and a few regular anti-heroes. It's very WWF/ Soap opera.

Jeez man, don't spend the remaiing $1.29 all in the one place.

BGE on PC? I really wanted to like that game and got about 2 hours in each time I played it then fell off.

Yes. Exactly. "How can you still be f-ing up the wall jumping in games this many decades after its invention."
That's looks intense!
I need to play my PSVR2 more often to get used to it.

Reminds me when you used to be able to get dvd triple packs.
A good way to archive and keep your favourites.

Its been a Donkey Kong Country Returns weekend for me. I made it to world five but it was quite the uphill battle. Loving it.
I really should return to Ninja Gaiden II Black since I am on the final level.
I never gave Little King's Story a fair shake. I'd love a rerelease.

Any y'all know anything about Kingdom Come; Deliverance? Just got a sequel and is getting high heat from low level sources.
Just subscribed.

That shit was addictive man. Very engaging. Astonishingly so. Yeah a remake would be awesome.
