Sega has announced Yakuza 0 Director's Cut for the Nintendo Switch 2, slated to launch simultaneously with the console on June 5, 2025. In an interview with Famitsu, RGG Studio talked about what the new take on the beloved 2015 title will offer.
According to producer Makoto Suzuki, Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will include episodes that were cut from the original game, totaling around 26 minutes of extra cutscenes. These will feature interactions between Kiryu and Nishiki, Kiryu and Kuze, as well as Majima and "somebody." Suzuki suggests that these new scenes will delve deeper into things fans of the series are curious about, while not being too high context for first-time players.
Red Light Raid, the new online multiplayer mode that will feature in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut, was designed to make use of the Switch 2's new chat functions and C button. In this mode, you team up with friends to battle hordes of enemies. The game will boast an impressive 60 playable characters that players will unlock as they progress. According to Suzuki, the online mode will be playable solo too.
The producer also confirms that Yakuza 0 Director's Cut will support 4K in docked mode and run at 60fps.

Fortnite has also been confirmed to be 4k on Switch 2, with a 1080p 120fps mode.
What do you guys want the next Zelda art style to look like?
I'm a bit sick of the BOTW aesthetic and I think Nintendo will switch things up for the next game.
What do you think they should do in terms of art or theme?
I'd like something that can be a bit angry, like when you're watching a bad ass anime and the style gets really grungy and stylised when the protagonist is about to wreck some fool.
Like an atmosphere where you have lots of dangerous individuals. Not just powerful enemies but characters with a simmering tension like they may rip you to pieces if you look at them the wrong way.

Has there been any talk of bringing Red Dead Redemption to the Switch?
Do you mean the sequel? That was rumoured but hasn't shown up yet.
Yes, the sequel.
Rockstar is weird with its ports. Took so long for the first one to be ported. But LA Noire gets priority?

I'm hoping for a new rendition of the impressionist style skyward sword hinted at but lacked the muscle to pull off.
Some of the character models were too weird/cartoon like. But not in a good Ww way.
It should look exactly like this. Not some 3d rendition, have like a celshaded look. Concept art come to life.
