Digital Foundry complained about the DLSS image quality in FAST Fusion so Shinen released a pure mode patch with no upscaling and it uses Dynamic Resolution scaling.
I managed to use this website to buy USA Nintendo eshop credit and used it to buy Dying Light Ultimate which isn't on the European eshop because its banned by the Germans where the servers are located.
If you guys ever want to get a game.from a different region eshop it's not too bad.
You need a different email address to your main account. You just select your desired region on the Nintendo website accounts page to create an account and they send you a confirmation code.
Then you create a user on your switch.and link it to that foreign account you created by signing in.
Then to buy you have to buy an eshop card from a site choosing your desired region. They email you the code in seconds.

I used this site which was recommended by reddit and Trust pilot. It worked.
The Japanese one is a bit more difficult so I used the Google translate lens to translate anything the camera can see.
People seem really pissed off at the Mario Kart World updates claiming that if you choose random in online racing you're less likely to get a classic three lap race track in favor of tracks that transition from one track to another. Its crazy how riled up some people are over this. Should Nintendo patch in a classic track mode?

I didn't even know you could do 'classic' tracks in VS mode. We never bothered much with VS mode in MK8 so didn't pay it any attention in World. I tried some this morning, and for me, it's more enjoyable. The way they've handled the Cups make little sense to me. It mimmicks knockout mode, but it's just divided into 4 'chapters'.
I tried a few of the tracks and while they were enjoyable, they seem shorter than the tracks in MK8? So far there's also nothing that matches something like Shy Guy Falls in terms of spectacle. I guess that's the flip side of the coin of having created a full interlinked world to traverse.
I don't mind the wider track design per se, it's clearly designed to accomodate the pure chaos of 24-player mayhem. I do feel that World is a very different game from MK8, where the developers clearly focused on magnifying the chaos element in favor of the actual racing. Both are valid, but I feel that outside of Knockout mode, I would have prefered tighter track design.
Really good game, perfect for me. It's like a better version of Zombi U.
I assume it's probably running at 7w0p handheld but it actually looks decent enough to be played in handheld mode.
Really excellent port and the switch 2 unlocks free performance updates, beast mode like with Kingdom Come Deliverance.
Love the first person viewpoint and interesting characters. The parkour seems like it could be finessed. Needs motion controls for camera that would make it better.
It's $9.99 on sale right now. Definitely get it if you have a switch 2 and you're looking for something to play on it.
I never played Mario Strikers so I look forward to it's release next week. So are they really just going to release one new GC game a month? Hopefully, Luigi's Mansion soon.
Resetera have tried it lol:

Be careful what you ask for I guess but what's nice is this user did a couple of awesome slider option screenshots that really show what DLSS can do:

Burnout Paradise Remastered is $4.79 on the eshop atm.
It's on the main menu as an option, so I was saving it for after I beat the main game.
But it's been seamlessly integrated into the game. You receive a holo call and then after some neat traversal you end up in dog town.

Need to try more MK8 Booster course tracks. Some of them feel quite cheap.
I’m fine with either track type in Mario Kart World myself so that update doesn’t bother me.
Yeah, some of them were just ported over from the mobile game.
Going back to MK8 they can be quite demanding with twisty turn after turn.
They are better designed tracks for a racing game, but I prefer bombing around larger tracks dodging things.
Yeah, I really do like the tracks in MKW as well.
New Bubble Bobble game coming winter 2025 for Switch 2/PS5/PC. Bubble Bobble: Sugar Dungeons. Megaton!

That's when free roam feels the best.

Don't buy that cute Switch 2 Piranha Plant camera - it's rubbish | Eurogamer.net
No need to be concerned about that. Has anyone bought a camera for the Switch 2yet?
^ that's too bad as it's definitely the aesthetically more pleasing option.
I prefer the sleeker look of the other camera.
