I was at the back of the room with Kazunori Yamauchi, at which point he turned to me and told me I was right, and that’s when he rounded things off and toned down the pure simulation aspect a little to put out the Gran Turismo you know today on PS1.

In a way, I like to think that I partly saved Gran Turismo’s fate, and that I played a small part in its success (laughs)!

It's that perfect balance between simulation and arcade that still makes Gran Turismo so much fun to play.

I'm a bit skeptical that we've seen no gameplay. I almost don't believe the graphics will look like that in gameplay. Like the Yakuza 0 cutscenes vs gameplay.

I'm still amazed that Scottish developers are.so good at making games that on the surface feel very American. At least their British humour is satirical.

Just finished listening to the latest GUpodcast.

I had high hopes for the Blue Prince, but wasn't aware that it involved repetitious tedious small puzzles in the rooms. I would have been content if linking rooms was all there was to it.  Also, I really don't like the artstyle. It looks like it was drawn in sketchup, making it look like work to me.

I think my wife did.
