Just bought this powerbank. Boring I know, but I needed it for a fan of all things as I'm in Asia this summer for a bit.

Anyhow, its magsafe and about 26'000 mah, PD 20w so can power and charge at the same time the Switch 2 or fast charging phone. Has a stand built in so good for Switch 2 tabletop mode.

And it will give you 5x more battery life over the Switch 2 battery. Probably 15 hours plus for a demanding game and more for indies.

I'm just hoping it doesnt explode in my pocket in Asia.

Would anyone embrace a Resident Evil where you played as the bad guy?

If it was good and they did something cool with it then sure. I mean I wouldn’t not play it simply based on that idea.

Only if I could play as Nemesis.

+1

Maybe it could work if the player thinks they're the protagonist for most of the game then it pulls the rug out from under them near the end.

Pariah, a first person shooter on the OG Xbox, had a similar storyline.

I was thinking of another shooter on the 360 that was similar. Can't remember the name of it.

Was it Spec Ops: The Line?

Dark Auction - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition announced

26.02.26 - Good Smile Company announces that Dark Auction - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by Izanagi Games will be released in Japan on 11.06.26. Dark Auction is already available for PlayStation 5, Switch and PC.

Dark Auction is a mystery adventure with a scenario by Rika Suzuki, known for Another Code and Hotel Dusk: Room 215. The character design is by Kohske, the music by Yuko Komiyama.

The plot takes place in 1981 in West Germany. 18-year-old Noah lives with his father Leonardo, an unsuccessful writer who obsessively engages in Hitler research. Despite money problems, Leonardo travels to an auction in an old castle, where objects related to Hitler are auctioned.

When he does not return, Noah follows him there. In the castle, he freely explores a 3D map, collects clues and analyzes key terms. Finally, he gets among the other participants and takes part in the mysterious auction, where the truth about the past is revealed.

PlayStation TV could return with PS6 handheld

26.02.26 - Sony could also bring back PlayStation TV with the - still unconfirmed - PS6 handheld. This is what the usually well-informed insider Zuby_Tech claims.

PlayStation TV, known as PlayStation Vita TV in Japan and other parts of Asia, is a micro console from Sony within the PlayStation hardware family. The device is a home console variant of the portable PlayStation Vita. Sony launched the console on 11/14/13 in Japan and on 11/14/14 in Europe and Australia.

It is controlled with Sixaxis, DualShock 3 or DualShock 4 controllers. PlayStation TV plays numerous Vita titles and applications from Module or from the PlayStation Store. Not all content is compatible, as features such as gyroscope and microphone are missing. The system emulates touch inputs via the controllers.

Sony has not confirmed the report.

RoboCop: Rogue City publisher Nacon files for bankruptcy

25.02.26 - The French publisher Nacon has filed for bankruptcy after the majority owner Bigben Interactive was unable to make a partial repayment of a bond loan. This is reported by VGC.

Nacon stated that its available funds are not sufficient to cover maturing liabilities. The plan is now to apply for judicial restructuring proceedings in order to examine all options to secure business operations, protect employees and preserve jobs.

Nacon wants to renegotiate its debts during this process and develop a feasible continuation plan. Trading in Nacon shares remains suspended until further notice. Nacon was founded in 1981 and is 76.7 percent owned by the Bigben Group.

Ecco the Dolphin Remaster coming to Switch

25.02.26 - A&R Atelier will release the remaster of Ecco the Dolphin (Mega Drive) for the Switch. This was announced by Ed Annunziata, the creative director of the studio and creator of the series, in the current issue of Famitsu.

Ecco has many fans and many people know the classics, but in Annunziata's opinion, many have never played it completely. "Many players didn't get past Stage 2," says Annunziata. That's why the team wants to develop a more accessible version with the remaster, which is graphically contemporary.

"Ecco is a symbol of the beauty of the sea, and that's what adds to the appeal of the game. Sea creatures are not invented figures, they really exist," says Annunziata, explaining the fascination with Ecco.

Furthermore, the development team wants to combine the 8-bit, 16-bit and 32-bit era in a single package. Players can then switch between the different graphic styles in real time. Annunziata has not yet decided what Ecco the Dolphin Remaster will be called in the end - but the name Ecco Complete appeals to him. Release: TBA (Europe)

Ahhh Ecco the Dolphin. I could go back and forth between that and Chakan the Forever Man for the title of most sadistically cruel game on the Genesis. Actually, Ecco probably gets it, because you're playing as a freaking dolphin. Who's expecting a game where you're a dolphin to be that damn hard?

It was ridiculously difficult. Ecco was a game I really wanted to enjoy, but I just couldn't. Dreamcast one was even more difficult. I never played Chakan.
