Looked no better than MK8 Wii U to me.

Ugh, seen all the hardware before, this trailer showed nothing. I would have hoped for a price and release month.

Hope third parties can reveal things now. Andy Robinson VGC said there were an unfortunate number of embargos today.

So maybe they finish today and we can get more news.

Wow that was an underwhelming announcement especially Mario Kart. That's a launch title of new uber powerful handheld?

Edit: I watched it a 2nd time. It's not going to be fully backwards compatible?

Games that use the IR sensor like 1, 2 switch or Nintendo Labo.

Everything else should work.

Mario Kart is a hugely successful game that would be a great launch titles, but the way it's just plastered a few seconds onto a screen is not the best way to reveal it.

Yeah, pretty weak reveal but I’m glad that it’s finally official now. I very much like the look of the system. Bigger and more powerful is all I need. Awesome to see a new Mario Kart game. Kind of bummed that we have to wait until April for a Direct on it.

If that's all that's not compatible then that's okay with me.

I hope MK9 gets a lot of visual improvements before release. That trailer makes it look like DLC.
