Definitely would prefer the Switch 2 games to be cheaper but it won’t hold me back from buying a game that I want. Am pretty much indifferent about Game Key Cards. I’m not one to sell or trade my games so the benefit of them for that doesn’t really matter much for me. Would probably just buy the game digitally anyway. Having said all that though the Switch 2 is primarily a system for Nintendo games for me. Any multi platform games I’d rather pick up on my XSX or PS5. Nintendo games will most likely always have a fully physical version but will also be more expensive and go on sale less frequently.
Yakuza 0 is only £35 physical too. Used to be £55 or something.

I'm kind of okay with key cards.
Downside is that you have to plug it in to play. Wish there was an infrequent authentication method. Like plug it in every other time you boot.
But if the GKC is cheaper than digital, I kinda like getting a box and cart as a sellable memento.
I didn't play too much either this weekend. Just a little bit of Civ 6 and some Joe Montana's Sports Talk Football 2 on Genesis; it's still a fun game.
I've mainly been playing Hades, and finally got the proper ending after defeating Hades in combat 10 times. I'd also like to say that it was well worth the struggle. The game had an excellent ending, and it's always nice when a game of this caliber has a conclusion that matches it.
It makes Nintendo 1st party games seem overpriced.
Split Fiction is half the launch price, Hitman is virtually the same off. And there are more games as low as £23.
Yes they are GKCs but the price is less than what they are on the eshop.
Other games are around £40 or less like some of Ubisoft's games.

Yeah, if the GKC version is cheaper I’d probably go with that as well. Do like having something physical for the collection.
Didn’t do that much gaming this weekend but what gaming I did do was Dragon Quest I HD-2D Remake.
Explored a mansion with Luigi this weekend.
