Microsoft is also developing a handheld.
Anyone interested?
It's going to be hard for Nintendo once they lose their USP. Steamdeck sequel systems out too.
Also Inin games now has rights to Shenmue 3. Hopefully they'll port it to a platform I own and develop a sequel.
What was Shenmue 3 like?
I keep looking at the Steamdeck. No sales for Black Friday.
The limited white one looks super cool but $679 is way more than I'm willing to pay.
This weekend I played Civilization 6, Warcraft 1 and a little SimCity 3000.
The RE4 remake is pretty darn awesome. It's practically like RE4.5 since there is so much new stuff.
I've flirted with the idea of getting one over the years but the price has never come down to hobo impulse buy territory.
Which ones have you tried? Would you recommend them?
There's a gameboy colour looking one i won't get. I'm looking at the gba looking one but the game has no map.
I want the HD ones but the price never drops.
I only have Shantae Half Genie Hero on Wii U. It's a high quality and fun game. It plays a bit like Wonderboy and Metroid. I want to play more of it, but I can't go back to the U-pad anymore. I need to double dip and get it on Switch too.
That's one I wanted.
I own all the Mighty Switch force games. I find Wayforward and Shinen never really bring their game prices down enough.
And Nintendo, standard 33% discount.
Metal Slug 2 is doing some incredibly crowd pleasing stuff.
There's a level where you enter a Tomb and fight mummies. You've got round bellied enemies that rip apart and explode. You go into a sewer and Resident Evil style monsters drop from the ceiling.
There's this gatling gun mini boss who falls into the water and a giant Orca rises up and eats him.
There's an epic Hong Kong and New York level. The games art is amazing, I can't even think of a modern pixel art game on the same level. Your character literally flings away weapons when you run out of ammo.
I can see myself buying all of these games.
It's such a shame that the slowdown tars the experience.
I have the Metal Slug collection for Wii. I believe it had every game in the series. It's a cool collection with one flaw: No Wii Pro controller support.
Yeah it's fantastic.
A new Sony portable... if it just plays PS5 games I don't really care to use it. Steam deck offers way more value. Also by the time that thing comes out a ps6 is about to hit.
I didn't even know that collection existed.
You can only play it with the Wii Remote sideways or Wii Remote+Nunchuk.
I guess it works, it's a three button game.
I beat MS2, you join your enemies to fight aliens at the end lol
Wanted the LG G4 as it has Dolby Vision. There's a Sony thats better for movies but it's over £2000 and it's gaming performance is bad.
Instead got the Samsung s90d, almost as good as the flagship model or the LG G4 but a good £500 less.
Congratz!
