The controls and hit detection are too sluggish. The AI pummels you to the floor then repeatedly knocks you over when you want to stand up.
I can't work out how to pick up ammo, nothing works.
I think its the analogue controls that are the main problem. Should be fine on the dpad. Still need a pro controller variant with a decent dpad.
After finishing Wolfenstein II, I decided to give South Park: The Fractured But Whole a spin. I'm glad I did. What have you been playing this weekend?
Just a little Puzzle Bobble (NeoGeo) and Dr Mario (NES) for me this weekend.
Been playing Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake this weekend. Love the visuals. Also finished my first game of this year which was Still Wakes The Deep. It was, ok. Very much inspired by John Carpenter’s The Thing. Played it through Game Pass and it wouldn’t a game I would have purchased. Probably give it like a 6/10.
Well ended up in the ER for back pain now one of my legs went numb for 4 hours so far.
You need to wind down your physical activities. Maybe get a scan on your back, if it's related to your spine it can be very bad.
There appears to be an optical mouse sensor built into the joycons so you can drag it around like a mouse on a mouse pad.
A Chinese leaker said indie devs reported that when they ported their game it performed slightly worse than ps4 pro.
Though the dev admitted they didn't optimise anything and wasn't that knowledgeable when it comes to specs etc.
Now it's actually become one of the best beat em ups.
Because it acts like an adventure games most of the time with a good story, interesting characters and world.
Then it seamlessly transitions into action then back to adventure.
Only thing that bugs me is they built in this weird delay when you want to advance the text, so you have to wait after every line of dialogue to press A and go onto the next bit of text.
I've never seen this in other games except for maybe zelda but they usually have 5 lines of text. This game can have essentially one line, sometimes one word before you have to wait to advance. Really strange and annoying choice for a fast reader like me.
I'm still -very slowly- playing through Mario and Luigi Brothership. It doesn't feel right to not finish a Mario game, but it hasn't improved either. I just saw some paratroopa's in the game for the first time. That was nice.
Eurogamer's Top 50 of 2024 (Ranked) Number 50 is Plucky Squire.
Has anyone here played the Plucky Squire? It looks superb. It's available on Switch, but I fear that the humble handheld won't do it's visual style justice and it hasn't released on Xbox One.
Thanks for taking one tor the team. Very disappointing.
Anyone interested in Donkey Kong Returns umm returning next week? I might actually buy it even though it will be $60.
I'm considering it. I enjoyed that game on Wii and 3DS. Tripple dipping is kinda nuts but it's in HD. I may wait for a price drop.
