I just tried the new patch.When the notes says significant texture improvements, they're underselling it. The textures already looked fine before but the upgrade seems massive. Everything is now more detailed and sharper.
It gives the impression that the whole games image quality is higher too. I wouldn't be suprised if the textures are now equal to the ps5 version. I wonder if the demo features the new textures?
Im finding it hard to play Lego Star wars now as the same locations compared to Outlaws look poor.
I'm thinking I will pick that up.
What games are y'all looking to pick up between now and Christmas?
I think I will get Metroid Prime 4 and Assassin's Creed Shadows.
Maybe Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2.
Have Fallout 4 and all the dlc on Xbox. Did enjoy the game. I’m curious as to what if anything is different with this Anniversary Edition.

10/24/25 - Bethesda has unveiled the free update "Burning Springs" for Fallout 76 (PS4, Xbox One, PC), which will be released in Europe on 12/02/25. Fallout 76 versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are also scheduled to be released in early 2026.
In Fallout 76, the "Burning Springs" expansion takes us to a new desert area in post-nuclear Ohio. There, the intelligent super mutant Rust King rules, who rules over Deathclaws and Raiders. In the dusty settlement, you will also meet The Ghoul from the Fallout series, who appears as a gunslinger and commissioner for bounty hunts.
Players earn caps, legendary gear, and rare modifications that empower humans and ghouls alike with successful hunts. Two new public events complement the region: In "Gearing Up" you support the Beastmaster of the Rust King, while "Sinkhole Solutions!" demands the protection of the inhabitants of Highwaytown from mutated creatures.
This is what the texture update to SW OUTLAWS did, but these aren't quite representative of the update.
It's a wholesale improvement that's much better looking than these screens which have been grabbed off a compressed video.
GAF is saying the demo is based on the old build and doesn't feature the improvements.
Im all in for Halo remake, still my favorite Halo. I need to play NG4, will get on that soon. Still getting through SHf for a second time and Silksong.

Mine too. The remake does look great.
The open world and grappling hook make Halo Infinite my personal favorite. I spent more hours with that game than all previous ones combined.
Halo remake looks really good indeed. Definitely looking forward to playing that.
I wonder if the Switch will get some Halo love?
They just don't want to come out and say they are going out of the console business.
I don't think they'll leave the console business, but I can certainly see them leaving the console race.
They can keep Xbox hardware as a guide to define the minimum spec for a 'generation', but open it up so it's basically just a plug and play gateway to PC gaming and as a storefront and ecosystem akin to steam and gog, meanwhile releasing their software on every platform.under the sun.
So I assume super expensive? So they are going to be the ROG Ally X of the console world? $1000+ ?
