Oh wow. Had been seeing stuff about Hulk Hogan not doing well recently but wasn’t really expecting him to pass away. He was a huge part of creating what wrestling is today and a huge part of me getting into it when I was a kid. Shame that he was quite an asshole in real life though.

This is pretty much my thoughts. I was a huge Hulk mark back in the eighties. Now I don't care for the guy. Guess he did live long enough to see himself become the villain.
I find that the less I know about celebrities in real life the better.
I think celebrities should only talk when they are on the screen and only be seen at launch events. If they stuck to that, most of them would have better careers and happier lives.
Hogan was a real life turd, but I will always give him credit for being great with his fans. It really didn't matter what was going on, he would slip right into character when he was meeting people.
Case in point, back in the 2000s, a friend of mine would often go with his mom to work, who was a night nurse at a hospital in Tampa while she worked. And at 12 or 13 years old he would just hang out in the unused areas of the hospital and would make trips to the cafeteria or vending machines, etc.
One night on one of those trips he was in the elevator when who is standing next to him? Hulk Hogan. In a hospital gown and pushing a mobile IV stand. My friend said hi to him, and Hogan slipped right into character even in that state, telling him how great nurses like his mom is and how important it is to take care of your body, etc.
So yeah, guy who could do that in a hospital gown with his ass hanging out deserves some credit for that. But he deserves every single knock against him as well. And boy there were a lot of them.
Those weird little short range spells feel like they'll get annoying, fast.
Oh and something is weird after the Cyberpunk update, it appears that they've removed people's crotch areas. You used to have clothing over the body parts, now when the camera catches at the right angle it seems there's literally nothing underneath now.
So some skank will be sitting legs akimbo on a couch and you can see the sofa behind her where her underwear used to be. Vanishing crotch update?
Is the age of console exclusivity truly coming to an end? Perhaps not for Nintendo, but Sony is searching for an executive to lead its rapidly evolving multiformat strategy.
A new job opening at its head office in San Mateo is looking for a director to lead PlayStation’s exploration of systems beyond PS5.
The post explicitly states that successful candidates will be responsible for “optimising title profitability” across all digital platforms beyond PlayStation, including “Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, Nintendo, and mobile”.
“Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Management as Senior Director of Multiplatform & Account Management, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the global commercial strategy for PS Studios software titles across all digital platforms beyond PlayStation hardware, including Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, Nintendo, and mobile. This role is accountable for optimising title profitability, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and leading a high-performing team focused on multiplatform expansion, mid-range commercial planning, and platform partner management.”
It later adds that key responsibilities will include overseeing the “mid-range commercial strategy for PS Studios titles across all non-PlayStation platforms, driving long-term revenue growth and audience reach”.
The role will also involve maintaining relationships with rival platform holders, including Xbox and Nintendo, to ensure “strong collaboration, promotional effectiveness, and performance optimisation”.
Sony has largely shed full-blown PS5 exclusivity at this stage, opting to port the vast majority of its titles to PC. It also released LEGO Horizon Adventures on the Switch, and has announced a Helldivers 2 port for Xbox Series X|S.
However, in a recent interview, PS Studios boss Hermen Hulst said that the manufacturer needs to be “really thoughtful about bringing our franchises off-console” to avoid detracting from its own ecosystem.
There’s a vocal contingent of PS5 owners who feel the system has failed to live up to expectations, largely due to its lack of true exclusive software and the sheer length of time it’s taken to create new games.
To be fair, the advertised role doesn’t necessarily confirm a change to its current strategy, and Sony could simply be planning to continue what it’s been doing up until now.
But with games being ported to rival consoles and PC conversions coming quicker than ever, it does feel like we’re heading towards an eventuality where PS Studios titles slowly begin to release everywhere.
Leo, I saw you started playing Shadow Labyrinth. Please share some thoughts when you think you've played enough to form an opinion. I have much curisoity.
This weekend I finished Death Stranding 2 and, wow, what an absolutely fantastic game. Very epic final Episode. The ending brought me to tears. Still got more side stuff to do and am definitely going to be doing that. It is very much a 10/10 game for me.
But a lot of the time normal weapons you acquire have better stats. So you have to choose between something that looks cool vs something more potent.
Shame you can't customise the look of your guns.
Does anyone know how the car colouring option works? I was hoping I would be able to copy the decals of cool looking graffiti cars. Gang member cars.

Yeah, I loved that as well. Seeing him throw Rocky around like a small child made me giddy.

It’s true what they say, “Never meet your heroes.”
We got lots of WCW before they merged.

Who the hell said this was a good port? It's both blurry and jaggy.
I wouldn't even be able to play this in this state.
Thankfully Mclassic works miracles with this game to make it acceptable on the tv.
Handheld it looks fine with everything shrunken down.
I considered buying it. Glad I didn't.
Do people enjoy the combat?

So game of the year or is that still Expedition 33?
Still Expedition 33 but DS2 is currently my number 2 pick.
