There's a Rumour that Switch 2 may have an open dock so you can see the screen when it's docked. Also a Rumour of an in built mic. Maybe it will double as an alarm clock/smart speaker when it's docked.
Show you the weather? The return of the Wii news channel?
Found a bunch of Neo Geo best em ups on the eshop.
Any of them good? Does anyone have any experience with Neo Geo games?
I only played a few back in the arcades way back when.
I have a neo geo. Sorta of wish I had not spulrged on that particular consoles, though it is great, the value for money over time has not worked out.
Ghost Pilot is a good 1942 imitation. Baseball Heroes is also a good arcade game. The 2d fighters were impressive at the time, but they've been surpasses. So unless you have a nostaligia for particular games you likely won't apprciate them as much as when they first came out on the phone book size carts. (Actually, the carts are much bigger than most phone books these days.
Before Dreamcast it was the only viable way to have the arcade experience at home - other than buying a bunch of arcade machines.
Yay Me! I finished A Plague Tale: Innocence (the first one from 2019). After nibbling away at it for weeks I decided to ignore my family, stop drinking and marathon through it. It was satisfying to mow through a game. By tagline for the review will be "Oh Rats!" (If ever write one).
I've thought for a while that PS5 would likely be my last non-Nintendo console. Without PS4 BC, and about half my PS4 digital games getting free upgrades to the PS5 version, I would not have bought one. PS5 Pro really solidifies that for me.
PS5 Pro is $700 US. Probably going to be $850 here in Canada. No disc drive either. That’ll be another $100 CAD as well probably. Damn.
Just conversion rate alone, that's $1,100 Australian. Then on top of that the extra costs of getting products to Australia (and the government console tax -- yes there is a specific tax on game consoles).
I'd be surprised if they bring it to Australia (outside of their high end Sony boutiques).
Not a lot of news this morning other than Sony's technical presentation news.
R.I.P. James Earl Jones. He had such a distinguished and commanding voice.

That console deserves to flop.
Pretty much what I expected. See the editorial from last week:
Why do Sony keep making obviously bad decisions?"gone too big and tried to go too quickly"

Any one played it?
