Hasbro "Going all in" on Digital Play

I remember playing the demo on Wii u years ago. Never got around to playing it. It's now on Switch, the Ultimate editon and cost me a dollar.
Surprised there was no hype around this games release, it's really very good.
It has 3 types of shooter gameplay blended together. So you have your standard scrolling sideways schmup. Then you have free movement with anti gravity, kind of like swimming in a 2D Mario game without having to continually pressing the jump button.
Then you go inside massive ships and Sci fi fortresses and gravity kicks in, you ship drops and becomes a tank and it's now like a 2d platformer with guns. Very cool.
It's got great controls and Visuals and frenetic gameplay.
Shame it was the developers final game.
I never heard of it before. May check it out later.
I mostly played Nintendo racers on N64. Really enjoyed SF Rush series on it too.. And Rush 2049 on Dreamcast. I miss the over-the-top arcade racers of the 90s.
Rush 2049 is in my top ten best games of all time. The stunt mode alone was worth it. I preferred the N64 version, probably jsut because me and my friends sank so many huors into it.
This weekend has been "comfort food" gaming for me. Friday evening and Saturday, I've been working my way through all Mario Kart 8 DLC trying to get 3-stars on every track; I've completed all of the 50cc, 100cc and most of the 150cc races so far. Looking forward to trying out Mirror mode and 200cc soon.
This morning, I started a new game of Mario Odyssey. I figured I'd play for an hour or so, but I've been playing it all day while cooking my meals for the work week.

This game really makes a case for the silent protagonists and no narration.
The game does look pretty cool. I want to check out the demo.

Been playing through the Mega Man games along with some Modern Warfare III multiplayer.
No gaming for me this weekend. I finished Paper Mario TTYD and haven't felt like playing anything else at the moment.
