UNLIMITED POWER!
Have you found what you were looking for?
One day left till RE4!!! So I wrote this massive breakdown on why I feel RE4 is still a perfect game. It's on era but I'll try to post it in the blog here, formatting might not work though.
I discovered there's a Phoenix Wright game that I never knew existed.
Spirit of Justice. It, like Dual Destinies was a digital exclusive here in Europe and I have like 1 day left to buy it.
Problem 1, sd card isn't big enough. Also wtf, using old SD cards not micros.
Problem 2, cannot add credit to Wii u or 3ds. Have to link switch account somewhere/how.
Workaround? I can use a micro sd with an adapter. Also it seems like you can purchase digital games from Nintendo UK or. Com website on your phone or laptop. And the shops will still allow you to redownload software.
Spirit of Justice is not on sale though.
Also discovered an old game I deleted because the sd card was too small. Lego City the Chase begins. A prequel to LEGO City. Forgot this even existed!
On Wii u I was going to download donkey Kong 64 and Star fox 64.
But they're both Ā£9 each.
Anyone own any N64 games on Wii u? Can you use the Wii u pad to play or the same old monkey shit of connecting a wii controller with a classic controller plugged into it?
I play a lot of 2d indie or adventure games so I don't feel the need for more power. Only when I play a port that isn't really using the system well enough.
If you compare The Observer in handheld vs Crysis 2 or Metroid Prime remastered in handheld.
One is blurry and lower resolution, the other is sharp, clear and runs smoothly with all sorts of graphical wizardry going on.
I like that the steam deck seems a lot more powerful though. But for a handheld, OLED ticks the boxes for me and it helps that I have an existing collection of games.
I was counting my backlog last night and I have 81 games to play.
And around 200 more on my wishlist.
Bought Phoenix Wright spirit of Justice via my phone on the Nintendo website.
Now to see if it's available to download on my 3ds.
Pretty cool if it works as I don't always want to break the switch out of its case to nab a deal.
Edit, it worked.
And it began auto downloading in sleep mode. Pretty nifty.
Might have to start using my phone more to order games on the website.
I fell down the rabbit hole of watching reaction videos of people hearing for the first time some of the music that I grew up with. Stuff like Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Dio, Judas Priest, Metallica, and Megadeth. Get such a kick out of these people losing their minds with the vocal capabilities, guitar riffs, and solos of these bands. Back when music was good.
Ok, boomer.
Recently, I've been listening to Ozzy's latest album he released last Septmeber. He's still got it.
Iām so very hyped to pick up Resident Evil 4 Remake tomorrow.
Nintendo says that they close up March 27 which is this coming Monday.
That FOMO kicking in.
Yeah taking a look at the games on sale most of the ones that I want or would get are already available on other systems including the Switch.
That's a big part of it. The 3DS it's probably in the bottom 3 of all Nintendo systems as far as I'm concerned. I barely played it when I had it.
What a little gem Bowser's Fury is. I played it for a little bit back when it was first released but then abandoned it for some reason. I started again and am just loving it. My only issue is that the camera doesn't seem as good as previous Mario games. It'll zoom in at the worst possible time and throw me off. Nintendo needs to make more Mario games like this that they just release sporadically, that are short but sweet.
Amazon is promoting the Mario film. I bet it'll become a collector's item.
It sure is. A very excellent addition to the Super Mario 3D World Switch version. Would absolutely love a full game version of this concept.
Finished it. Yeah, Bowser was annoying near the rnd but a fantastic final boss. Great game and looks to be my first finished game of the year.
From the demo I was expecting something more esoteric and Sci fi ish.
But it defied my expectations and is much better than I ever imagined. It's basically fully voice acted Phoenix Wright, minus the court room cases.
If you ever liked comedy Anime you will love this. There are so many laugh out loud moments.
And the full voice acting brings everything to life perfectly.
