No, no, no. Release Tengen Tetris!
Bleh!
According to Nintendo Life, it was done by Retro Studios and another company.
Does Tengen exist anymore?
Not since the early '90s. They were owned by Atari IIRC
I. M GALAXY and retro apparently.
Guys check out the Gamexplain review on YouTube. Some awesome footage. And some high praise for the work done.
I never played those on NES. I had the SMS versions of both great games.
So you played the inferior versions? I dont recall the NES having those games back in the day. I was all for Rolling Thunder, Pac Man and Tetris instead. Did any Tengen games have the Nintendo seal of quality? I felt like a rebel playing those games.
We went camping in the mountains of Tennessee one time in a campground with an arcade. They had a Rolling Thunder arcade cabinet that was broken and allowed you to have unlimited continues. I still didn't beat it.
RBI Baseball had the seal. I think there were a couple others as well, but there weren't many compared to the unlicensed ones they had.
Horizon Forbidden West's gameplay is so similar to Rise of the Tomb Raider that the slightly different controls are driving me nuts. I'm tired of hitting the wrong button and falling off shit or failing to attack something correctly, lol.
Tengen's NES games were licensed until they found Nintendo's lockout chip patent and used that info to bypass it, which was a copyright violation.
I'm having button issues with Metroid Prime because the A and B buttons are in reversed on the pro controller from yhe Xbox controller. A should always be on the bottom.
It's even more rage inducing than my current losing streak!
Anyone here try the Hori Split Pad Pro for Switch? I was this one at Walmart this morning; considering getting it. Might be nice for playing Tetris and Civ 6 while watching videos.
I hear these are not wireless and there's no motion sensing.
