It's too cute. Looks frigging awesome. World traversal is excellent. Dialogue is quirky. Battles remind me a little of Mario and Luigi.
It's a pixel art JRPG from the developers of The Messenger. Feels great. Almost a certain buy for me. On sale (that goes for most indie games I want)
Yeah, I saw those too; they do look nice. I'm not too bothered about the missing features as long as they are comfortable. $50 is a bit pricey, though.
But A prefers to be a bottom.
Yeah, I always have to consciously adjust myself between the two.
Looks good and gives me vibes of Chrono Trigger.
I finally finished A Plague Tale 2 which did not live up to the original at all. Makes me want to play The Last of US part II, but luckily my PS4 needs to be repaired so I can't torture myself like that.
More importantly, I followed it up with The Suicide of Rachel Foster and the surrounding controversy is mind boggling. It's hard to believe how illiterate and utterly devoid of the ability to editorialise critics are today.
I downloaded the first Plague's Tale but havent gotten far at all. I need to get back to it.
So charged and booted up my 3ds.
Wow, what a blast from the past. I tried the 3ds ambassador gba games. They display in a smaller window on the 3ds screen. Was the gba screen really that small??
As an glasses wearer it feels cruel and unusual to try playing gba games on it. I still have my GC gba player but with no CRT I can't even use it.
So anyway the 3D is still somewhat magical. If only it was a larger brighter screen with better resolution. Would have loved a 3D Switch variation.
More sentimental is discovering 13 year old 3D photos I took on 3DS.
The resolution is woeful (the camera not the screen) but the pictures almost took my breath away.
There's nothing like it, seeing old 3D pictures of my first nephew as a baby with his parents behind him. In 3D seeing the old apartment, remembering that moment.
But worse was seeing my first cat who died aged 19. Most of the pics were taken while he was sick, so to see him in that state was heartbreaking.
The 3D made it look like I was looking through a window and somehow he was still alive on the other side. Some pictures had his whiskers coming out of the screen or his fur looking tactile as it came out the screen.
One picture has his paw reaching out something like an inch. I could put my finger under it like he was still alive.
So unbelievably sad, but precious pictures. I think it's going to be quite important to use this to capture family members in 3D before they start dropping.
I wanted to buy a 3d screen camera phone years ago.
Shame this tech died, would have been awesome to have 3D no glasses screens in portable devices.
I'm only vaguely aware in passing of the controversy surrounding Rachel Foster. I can imagine why, though I haven't read anything.
Without spoiling the story for others, what's the general gist of the problem?
