I tested postive for Covid-19. Sad I found out this morning. Being fully vaccinated obviously didn't prevent it, but it may have helped ease my symptoms. Feels like a severe sinus cold with headaches and dry cough. Daily headaches started 11 days before the sinus and cough symptoms began. I never had a fever; I checked daily. All of my symptoms are fairly mild so far today, so maybe I'm near the end of it.

Yeah you're probably at the tail end of the whole thing. The biggest thing about COVID vaccines is the way they bring the probability of progression to severe or critical disease down to near zero. If your symptoms are improving chances are you're on the way out of it.

I'm glad that it's not too severe, Raven.  Hopefully it'll be over soon. This virus is taking out a lot of our students and staff. We are talking five to seven children per classroom out on quarantine at a time.

I read an article that said you can substitute fps for hz. So 75hz means the monitor can spit out 75fps?

75hz or fps seems a bad choice. You need it to be a multiple of common fps. 60 can do 30 and 60 well. 120 can do 30, 40, 60, 120.
Not sure why you'd need 75fps. That means that for 60 fps every 5th frame would need to be a double, resulting in uneven frame pacing

I am so happy to own a Series S. Of course I want a PS5 but I can certainly wait a year or more. The Series S gives me a much better bang for my buck with the GamePass.  I guess it certainly helps that I missed out last Gen. Like Archie said there's too much to play.

With that said, I'm delving further into The Ascent.  I'm about halfway through the main campaign and really am enjoying it. If anyone would like to co-op them I'm game.

What about you guys?

Yeah the Series S is a fantastic piece of tech. A great balance between visual pizzazz and price/convenience. Not to mention it's apparently an emulation beast. And gamepass is nowadays a ridiculous value proposition.

I've been playing Genshin Impact on PC and PS5  almost daily for the past few months, newest update brought a new region and it's been great so far. It's going to be my favorite game of this year for sure.

I've also been playing a lot of Stardew Valley on switch. Funny thing is that I owned it on PC for a long time but never felt like playing it, even though the modding scene makes it a breeze to iron out any possible kink. The pick up and play and portable nature of the switch changed that in a second. I'm close to 80 hours in just a few weeks and I'm not planning to stop anytime soon with the amount of stuff this game has. It's just another reason why I like the switch so much these days.

On the multi-player front, I've been playing divinity original sin2  with a group of friends. It's got some rough aspects regarding connectivity and the start of the campaign is kind of eh, but it's improving fast.
