So weird. Took the wii u to the nephew's, gamepad had weird interference problems. First time ever. And I've used it there before and it was fine. The one time in like 6 years it decides to crap out is just when I need it. Also since I installed a HDD I didn't realise it now always had to be attached. So Nintendo land downloaded 20 mins of updates. Got the switch in the car luckily. Only two joycon. Kids can't use these things to even navigate the damned menus. Have to reset the controllers between tracks so the youngest has auto everything turned on. It's a nightmare. I think I just have to buy another controller.

I ordered this joycon grip selection pack in my neverending goal to emulate the Wii U controller width and size.

I was thinking of also getting these joycon shells that don't require the switch in between them. They are solid hard cases and make the joycons more comfortable.

Both of them together should work pretty well. But I will test the first pic ones with my existing silicone sleeve.

I had pondered in getting a classic controller which would solve the tiny button problem, in Splatoon. But it would still leave my hands too close together and neck pain.

GG, have you seen these keyboards? They apparently kinda suck but might work well as a joycon spacer Wii U style.

Yes I saw them. Wish I had remembered. I didn't get it because there are no handles to it. But then I discovered that thing I posted above which you can attach to the joycons and still Dock them or use them with a middle attachment. I might try that keyboard depending on how my contraption works out.

I tried 'repairing' my joycon sticks by blowing pressurised air into them, as instructed by the article put up here about a week ago. So far it seems to have helped. Not sure how I stand on the matter though, as it's only a temporary solution. On the other hand, by the time this stops working perhaps Nintendo will be prepaired to fix them in all of the world, instead if just in area's I don't live in.
