I only played Kingdom Hearts on PS2 I didn't even play Kingdom Hearts II.

So before I play Kingdom Hearts III I have to purchase Kingdom Hearts: The Story So Far which has all the games in the series on 2 discs with some movies for some of the games. I need to play those to get caught up.

I plan to get that game and then eventually around April or something I will get Kingdom Hearts III.

Sure it is way better than part 1 but man, when I got to a part where in order to progress I’m supposed to fork over $500 and I only had $81 I loudly groaned. I’ve already been putting up with outdated mechanics, embarrassing controls, goofy writing and even worse acting but it’s shit like this that’s the worst. It’s just busy work the game having you to put up with this. It’s never as bad as the torture that was the five days of forklifting in Shenmue 1 (seriously, did back then people accepted that more than today?) but it shouldn’t be there.

What was the point of the game carrying over the money I had left from part 1 (I had almost $1,000) if they were going to take it all away from me shortly afterwards anyway?! Would’ve saved me from grinding for money in this game!

The only reason I’m doing this was because for reasons I still don’t understand and im regretting I decided to Kickstart Shenmue 3 back in June 2015 without having played the first two. I trusted Sega would Remaster them and bring them from Dreamcast hell but these games have aged terribly.

I take it Shenmue 2 bombed isn’t it? Otherwise it wouldn’t have taken 13 years and one crowdfunding campaign to start developing part 3.

Yeah while I did enjoy Shenmue back in the day I’m not really chomping at the bit to revisit them myself either.

That’s some pretty big news on the Metroid Prime 4 development front. The good news is that we’ll probably be getting a better game. The bad news is that we’ll probably be waiting longer for the game now.

Ok I just looked it up and all I found was that it was “suggested” that Bandai-Namco was assisting in the development of Metroid Prime 4 in some capacity.
