You mean you can play it without having to own XC2?  I'd definitely be interested in that, kind of a sampler if I'd enjoy XC2 itself.  I'm kind of weary of jumping in after XCX, which I wasn't too fond of.

I'm not quite sure at the moment, there was some contradicting information on it. They are releasing it as a standalone retail game the first story I read said. Later info I read say it's a download code card and you may need to own X2 to play it.

Xenoblade 2 though is nothing like XCX. The whole game feels very different, it's more like a light hearted story led, sitcom version of Xenoblade, where XCX was more sci-fi exploration and mechs.

I just watched some gameplay of Spyro Remastered, damn it looks good. They're doing a great job on upping the presentation while keeping everything in tact, just like the Crash collection. Definitely grabbing that in September.

Also watched the Doom Eternal stuff, really excited about this one. IGN says it's basically a re-imagined DOOM 2. So like Metroid Prime to Super Metroid. I mean if they take that same blueprint as the last one and just open it up and tweak it, the game is guaranteed gold.

There's really so much info from the last week that I haven't even seen half the games.
