This week I finished uncharted 4 and started lost legacy, which is so much better it isn't even funny. Fun, fast paced, thrilling and engaging. It has everything including fun puzzles. This is what uncharted should have been all along.

Godamnit I've contracted Vampirism on Skyrim. I remember this from Oblivion. People kept asking me why I looked pale etc but nowhere did it say that I had a curse or sickness or anything in the game/menus etc. Now my skin is boiling in the sunlight. The cure disease potion didn't work, the shrines didn't work either.

So otherwise I talked to a mountain top dragon and totally coincidentely came across the BOTW gear. Which is all lower powered than the gear I already have. Can't store it, unwilling to sell it and whenever I get dragonbones I get over-encumbered. And how the heck do you stop this Mieke guy stealing the souls of dragons you kill?

Plus you get to play as a hot piece of poontang instead of Johnny Gap. I mean I like Drake but I'll take the girl anyday.

I just finished off back to back PS2 remakes....Ratchet & Clank and Shadow of the Colossus. Both absolutely fantastic to the point of feeling like a completely new experience. Now I really need to finish off Dreamfall Chapters (which is great and I love the art style) and Mario Odyssey. And shit...Yakuza 5 for that matter.

Cured my vampire-ism in Skyrim. Thankfully you can run about in the daylight unlike Oblivion so it wasn't as bad. Though it included a massive cross country trek to get to Winterfold, then to find Morthor. And no one mentions that you have to ask for rumours at Morthor - Morthal? at the pub before Falion will cure you.

Really enjoying the game now, it's huge. The map isn't too bad - except for mountains with no paths and no climbing ability. But the sheer density of people and stories to delve into feels like I could play it all year.

One thing I don't like is whenever I kill a dragon, the bones weigh so much I become overencumbered and have to ditch stuff. I hired a merc who I can offload stuff too, but even with his carrying weight I can still have too much stuff. And when I want to sell it in a town I have to visit multiple merchants in various places to sell different things to. And they often run out of cash, so it gets monotonous.

Oh and I've played over 540 hrs of Splatoon 2, my switch says.

I'm still only a level 50, some people are level *2 , which means level 200. So imagine how much they play?

I just got my Super NT today. Can't wait to check it out this is going to be really awesome.

I so hope they end up adding Genesis support eventually. Talk about a 16 bit era god machine.

There is a potion that can temporarily increase your max carrying weight.

I hired a merc to offload goods too. And got a thrall to keep stuff too. Sometimes its still not enough. Those damned dragon bones.

After playing with the Super NT for a few hours, I am totally happy I made the purchase.

So much better than the Retron 5 or even the really good emulators. It really is like having a modern day Snes with HDMI support. It's powered by a USB cable so you don't even have to plug it into a wall. I plugged it into the front of my PS4 Pro and the Super NT worked just fine. It's also got some weight to it for such a small device. It weighs about as much as a Dreamcast. So it doesn't slide around and fall off your table or anything.

All kinds of cool graphic, sound, and menu options. Basically the type of stuff you'd get in an emulator, but in an actual set box that works exactly how it's supposed to all the time. You can even change system menu and power LED to match either the USA or PAL regions colors.

I played a bit a Super Turrican built onto the system, which is beautiful and runs fantastic. And I also played some F-Zero....plugged my cart in and game instantly boots up just like the good ol' Snes. Only it looks and sounds much better.

There's already an early firmware hack that let's you load roms onto an SD card that just came out today, and possible Genesis support coming down the road too.

I'm totally glad I went for this instead of the Snes Classic...yeah it's like twice the price, but you get what you pay for. Or a lot MORE than what you pay for, really.

Image result for super nt everdrive

This is the one I got. I didn't get a controller though since I already had a nice Snes pad that works fine on it.

Beat Miraak in Skyrim. I can't decide whether I liked his weird other world sections or not. Feels weird in this very grounded world to go to some green glowing world with a million books. Then having the blob from outer space control you.

Did this huuuuge underground Dwarven city thing in Skyrim. Wish the map was better. It was fun but bordering on unmanagable. Everything was so dark too.

Even with my 3 characters, I still have to visit multiple shops in multiple towns to sell it all.

Man, I have been so hooked on Monster Hunter World. It’s like crack. You could say that I love me the Monster crack. LOL

At first I tried the sword and shield then a little bit of the great sword but I have really taken to using the insect glaive. I love the mobility that it gives you in combat and how it makes it easier to mount monsters. You can use the insect to get different buffs to attack and defense or replenish health. The insect also leaves dust behind after hitting the monster which can hit with your weapon and trigger different effects like poison or blast. I really like using the blast myself and hitting the monsters with extra damage.
