PS4 still has it going into it's 5th year. Still isn't going to catch the PS2 in lifetime sales though. Nothing is. PS2 was a perfect storm that destroyed Dreamcast and did quad damage to Gamecube & Xbox.

What games do you own? I'm playing Skyrim, Xenoblade 2 and Splatoon 2 at the moment - although I still have a few Mario Odyssey Moons to pick up.

If the Switch was just a handheld I guess I would have parted ways completely with Nintendo at this point. Just never been my thing. I like using my 55 inch HDTV and my 5.1 Digital sound.

As for Splatoon...I'm still having a hard time caring. It's like the Nintendo Overwatch, and I haven't gotten into that either. Games that are primarily online focused I really don't bother with much anymore, unless it's something along the lines of Destiny.

That saved me some money...I forgot completely that I had a 1tb external drive that I was using on the Wii U. And since the fucking Switch doesn't let you use one, I formatted it up to the PS4Pro. That should do me for a good while until I feel like splurging for a giant 8 tb drive. I'm still going to have to buy a dumb ass SD Card for the Switch too....I really wish they gave you the option of using a hard drive. It's sad that you can get a 4 TB HDD for about the same price as a 200 GB Mini SD Card.
