Sent the Switch off to be checked for the left joycon. It's not terrible but it did annoy me enough to send it off before Splatoon 2. Also my battery problem seems to be the indicator. I played it for 3 hours with the battery indicator saying it had 1% charge. So since I would be without joycons I thought I'd just pack in the switch to be looked at too.
Really had a wow moment yesterday when I was cooking waiting for some rice to boil when I got bored, popped to the living room, then grabbed the switch and was playing in the kitchen. I love how personal the Switch feels. It feels like MY device, which sounds stupid because everything I buy is mine. But it feels oddly personal in a way no system ever has for me - in that you can take it anywhere and play anywhere, so much so that it feels very personal and special - if only there were more games to play on it. The joyconn and battery issue have however impaired my enjoyment of it, as well as not being able to order a 2nd dock yet here in the UK.
1. No I don't do Star Wars Celebration. It's just way too big and crowded. Plus, truth be told, I'm just not a huge Star Wars fan.
2. Turns out that wasn't actually Susan Hummer's picture. I don't know what she actually looks like, but the picture of the Twitter announcement with the fat chick underneath it was not real. Pity, because I think I had a chance.

You'd have to be an idiot to buy into the GTX Titan line. Why would anyone pay DOUBLE the price for basically a 2% power boost over a 1080 Ti? Titans are for rich people that have money to burn and just want some kind of nerd bragging rights. Like people who buy Super expensive sports cars.
It's cool and all, but I'm not feeling the "one of the best shooters ever" shit. It seems like a typical Platinum Games game that people jerk off to and act like it's a million times better than it really is because it's the godly ex-Capcom guys making it. It's cool, the main character is hilarious in the same way that the guy in Far Cry Blood Dragon is hilarious. The other characters, environments, and music are generic as hell...but the gameplay is fun. It feels like a game that was supposed to come out for the Dreamcast to me, but didn't see the light of day until the 360.

"The PC market is huge and can definitely not be ignored. We are absolutely aware of that, and we’ve always felt this way," a spokesperson for Platinum told PC Gamer. "We’ve always had a positive stance towards porting our titles to PC, but the decisions as to which platforms we release our games on, and which platforms are the main focus for the games we make are largely made by the publishers, so this is not something we can decide on our own.
"However, most third party publishers nowadays realize the PC should not be ignored, so I believe we should be able to become more actively involved in the PC market from here on out."

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Why would it mention 3DS? Splatoon 3DS?
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Happy Star Wars week everyone. I will be at the convention, new trailer and all sorts of goodies.
I sure hope so.
Good Morning America has some kind of announcement tomorrow. Probably a trailer announcement. I'm dying to see a trailer right now.
Will Robio be at the convention too?
What I want to know is will Susan Hummer be at the convention?
I'm asking for a friend.

Hummer....teehee!

I started playing Vanquish.

That kind of talk don't go around here. Savvy?
Yeah it's a fine shooter, but nothing crazy.
Speaking of fine, it sure would be fine if they would port Bayonetta 2 also to the PC. And hell, throw Vanquish in there as well.
What do Platinum have to say about it? Well, let's find out:
"If it were up to us, we’d port all of our games to PC, but it all depends on the publishers."
Ugh...
