The direct yesterday was great, lots of good stuff. Splatoon 2 horse mode!!!! And next time we see it they will show single player! I caught the monopoly stupid statement too, lol.
NPD Mary switch sells 906k, best first month for Nintendo. Zelda sells 1.3 million, 960k on switch. Yes zelda sold more copies on switch than switches sold. Over 100% attach rate.

You know getting the more expensive ltd editions of games works out in the long term. I don't normally buy them but I have a couple and noticed that years later they hold their value far more than regular editions when it comes time to re-sell them.

The Switch has sold more in March than the Wii U did in its entire holiday season.
To compare with 3DS which also was released in March (albeit at the end):
Mar '11: 398K
Apr '11: 194K
May '11: 98K
And Switch also outsold the Wii.
I know Walmart made its customers get the ltd edition because that's all they had in stock.
I bought this and applied it today to the dock. Looks great.
I haven't applied it to the Switch or joycons cause I don't have it back yet. I also want to apply some of the offcuts to a tiny portion of the joycons and see after an extended period if it takes off the coating or damages the text/colors.
That sucks that they discontinued the NES Classic, I really wanted to get one.
Also there are probably some people picking up the game but weren't able to get a Switch yet.

At first I thought, this is great fucking news...like the best news in forever! Then I felt a sense of dread....imagine if Bioware fuck this up? What if they fill it with politically correct nonsense like they like to do nowadays? Should I just wait for the fanmade remake of Kotor 1 instead? Deep breath....
If Bioware were to mess up making Knights of the Old Republic 3 then it is what it is. I'll always be on the side of being excited to see a sequel to games I love being made as opposed to them not being made. If they turn out bad then so be it, they won't tarnish my love of the previous games any. I'm just grateful that the attempt to make a new game for me to play is happening.
I started playing Yooka Laylee. This game is fantastic...if you love the old school platformers of the N64 and the PS2 I don't see how you couldn't love this game. If you skip it because some nerd says it's not modern enough, shame on you.

So what's everyone's opinion on the Scorpio so far? If DF's guess turns out to be correct and it'll hit the market at $499 I can see it selling pretty well. True 4K no-compromise gaming could be a strong draw, although the enthousiast segment of the market who'd be enticed by this might very well just have turned to PC by now, what with MS having nearly no exclusives anymore.
