I've used it many times on my lap with the kickstand. You're balancing it on the bottom rim of the Surface and the kickstand, which is just as stable as balancing the bottom half of a laptop. The only downside is that your keyboard is nearer to you. I find it to be sufficiently comfortable and enjoy the flexibility of it all. My cover also has a grip on the back, so I can hold it like a block of paper and just sketch on it.
pro 4 is too expensive. Pro 3 is the same specs as my older device. Eh. Might get a touchscreen laptop instead.

If you're mainly going to be browsing I'd recommend a 3, not a pro3. It's smaller, but has all the functionality of the pro, with a full windows running ob mobile tech.
So who's going to try out the Splatoon2 global testfire this weekend? I just checked out the hours, and I'll probably partake this evening and tomorrow, leaving the middag slots for my son, who is a big fan of 'the game with the squids'. He has so far only played 1 on 1 against myself, so I'm curious to see if he'll take a liking to the actual turf wars.

Considering that 'purchase intent', I feel that the Switch is a very tempting proposition for many. My best friend is a PC gamer, but he also owns a PS3 and, before that, a Wii. He only plays them sporadically, but takes them with him on both his yearly vacations at the beach. He was considering getting a Switch for his kids instead of an Ipad, and I think that for someone like him, who lugs his consoles around a couple of times a year, being able to just take it out of the dock and bring it along would be a huge selling point.
Yup, I'm definitely glad I went with the PC version on this one. I almost didn't because of having to use Origin. We're getting to that point where the consoles are having a hard time keeping up again so it should be interesting to see if baseline PS4 and Xbone end up getting phased out like many have predicted. Well, it's still Splatoon. but not having to press a button to have your whole view obscured by the map sucks big time. It just doesn't work. The jetpack is cool as you can then penetrate enemy territory you can't reach, but boy, does it make you a sitting duck ripe for splatting. I liked the firecrackers better.
Enjoyed returning to Splatoon, but I can also still do that on WiiU, without a paywall for online. I'm not convinced this is a full blown sequel. I guess that's what you get for creating perfection with your first game though.
Well that was revelatory. I could only play handheld and tabletop mode so it was less than ideal. It did work though and awkward handheld Splatoon is better than no off-screen Splatoon. I'm phone posting so not in the mood to write extended impressions. There were people disconnecting like Splatoon 1. Handheld graphics were soft. Biggest problem is you can't change the sensitivity and test it. You can only test it during an actual match. I cranked ot to max and had an awful match. Then tried it in handheld mode. The problem is that the same sensitivty feels different depending on whether you're playing in handheld mode or tabletop mode. I had the switch on a tray on my stomach so of course the fucking thing fell over twice in one match. The stand is fine for a table, not on a tray on your lap where a slight movement knocks ot over. I hear the u stand works so ill try that. The map on X is horribad. I accidentally hot it twice and flapped about trying to get rid of it. Dying in the process. The d pad on the map didn't seem to go to the player I wanted. The player movement felt bad as I'm so used to using clothing to change my speed etc. I dominated with a roller. That seems perfect for handheld mode. Anyone try it on the tv? What was the resolution like?
Couple Steam pics....Turok 2 HD and Mass Effect Andromeda...a pic of my first outpost.

BLAST OH'S CEREAL!!!

I wonder if he performs vasectomies or just gentle massages.
