In semi related news, have you guys heard of the song 'Les Sucettes', written by the great Serge Geinsbourgh and performed by France Gall in 1966? Biggest act of trolling in modern history right there. This famous singer songwriter wrote a song about how a girl adores the taste of lollipops with the taste of anise, she bought with a few pennies. France Gall was also pretty big, and appartently also very much naive. Once she found out what the song was really about, she never performed it again, despite it becoming one of her greatest hits.
I am not surprised by this. The Switch is a portable system without 4G. How can Nintendo know if you're not sharing your copy with all your friends if their console isn't always online? Unless they'd use some clunky system where you can manually transfer the license.

BTW have you guys chosen your Switch user ID yet? You can do it from your Nintendo account.
It isn't your NNID and it isn't your Wii U username. You need to set it for Switch and do it soon before your favourite handle is taken. Go into your mynintendo account and do it in the options. I tried Gamingeek but for some reason the name isn't case sensitive and comes out all lower case.

I saw that you had 2 usernames and I changed them both to SupremeAC. Not sure if that was it though. Seems to me they could easily have it so that multiple people have the same username.
So does it explicitly state that it's for Switch somewhere? Just want to be sure that I didn't miss it, because I'd be bummed if that Frenchy registered MY username before I did.
No it doesn't. I just watched the official Switch unboxing and there's no separate adapter for off-screen play. You literally have to use the system adaptor. That'll harm portability.What?

What I've always liked about a lot of old songs is that they're totally sexual but they would word them in a certain way to make it seem innocent. They couldn't say or do the things we could around the 1980's and up, so everything was a play on words. The type of thing you described probably happened in every home in those days with one song or another.
I was addressing 2 separate issues. Also, Switch previews are now out. Can't be arsed to post them, check the regular Nintendo sites.So AMD showed off their new RYZEN or whatever CPU line and apparently it's the best thing they've done in years. The top of the line chip is $500 and actually beats Intel's top of the line chip in benchmarks which costs over $1000. That's fucking impressive.
The thing I always worry about when it comes to AMD stuff is how well made they are. My old AMD PC was great for a few years, but it ran so insanely HOT that one of my graphics cards basically melted. And it just felt cheap compared to my Intel/Nvidia rig. But, if they're going to start beating the competition at half the price I may have to think about going back.
This is going to be an interesting year. I was leaning towards getting the Scorpio but lately I've been kind of going with the idea of upgrading my PC either late this year or early next. As of right now it's just at that point where the new heavy hitters can't be maxed out on it so yeah, it's time to start thinking upgrade. If Scorpio is basically going to be like PS4 Pro where nothing is really designed for it exclusively, I may just upgrade the PC. And of course I want a Switch for the Nintendo stuff.
So this AMD thing has added yet another layer of complexity to my future gaming choices.
