Just listened to some of the VGPress podcast.
I can't say I agree too much with what was said to a degree. Mostly that those who aren't politically correct are the ones who get shit on the most.

I was going to reply but Bugs summed it up.
N64 and GC Paper Mario was awesome.
So the other day I told you guys I got my new Astro A50 headset right? Its awesome.
Anyway, I just had an epiphany. They claim the set only works with the PS4,PS3, PC, XBONE & 360. Basically because you have to hook the headset adapter up with an optical audio cable and the fact that older machines won't "recognize" what you just plugged in. Also, because it doesn't have HDMI it only uses Dolby, not Linear PCM. But while Linear PCM sounds a lot better than Dolby, in a badass headset like this it really doesn't matter.
But what I want to get at is, I've found a work around. Not just for Wii U, but for basically anything you plug into your TV. Basically, instead of plugging the headset DIRECTLY into a console like with the PS4 or what have you, you can take the Wii U, plug that into your TV instead of a reciever (I have all my stuff hooked up to a reciever) then plug an optical cable into the OPTICAL OUT on the TV...and plug that into the headset adapter. BOOM. Now, anything you plug into the TV is going to send its audio directly to the headset! Wii U instantly compatible! I tried out a little Xenoblade, it sounded awesome!
And again, this works on ANYTHING you plug into your TV. I plugged the Retron 5 in, popped Phantasy Star 4 into it....omg amazing 2 channel stereo sound through the headset. If you have converter boxes and switches for your old systems to hook them up via HDMI like I do, you can just plug a switch box with 5 consoles hooked up to it into your TV and BOOM, headset compatible. So basically any system I have, I can now use with this headset.
Figured I'd share in case anyone was thinking of getting a set.
If you go into my profile and look at the item I have "Starred" you will see a template you can use to embed YouTube videos!

You see the "VbfpW0pbva" part? When you are on the page of the video you want, look for the string of characters after the "=" in the address, copy those and replace the Vbfp... characters with the ones you copied.

^ Every song in Kirby's Epic Yarn was... epic!
Anyone here still playing Hearthstone? While I was at my convention this weekend, I was introduced to a local Hearthstone group, and it turns out they do some of their events just a couple minutes from where I live. So in an attempt to be slightly more social I've signed up, but I have a feeling I'm in clear need of practice. So I'll be picking it up once again, and in the event any of you play let me know so I can friend you.
Yo!
Sorry but Ifind Kirby games boring as shit.
