As much as I hate to say it, The Shovel Knight expansion Plague Of Shadows is not good.  I feel like I'm just wrestling with the controls rather than playing the game. Too bad too because there are a lot of really neat ideas here, but I cannot remember the last time I played a game where jumping was such a pain in the butt.

By the way, with October approaching I wanted to recommend a good horror game - Lone Survivor. It's like a 2-D Silent Hill. a good psychological horror game that really messes with your head.

Its available on Steam, Wii U and  probably other systems as well. But it's on sale in the Eshop for like @$3.50 right now so it's really a steal at that price.

Well, my friend stayed way later than I would have expected, all thanks to Affordable Space Adventures.  My wife joined so we had a full crew of 3 and it was great fun.  There's nothing more amusing than being blown to bits because your engineer thought he had to swith to the diesel engine the moment a sound-trigered turret is hovering right above you.
