Its not like he said anything that people don't already know. We all know they like to nickle and dime every action they make.

The problem as I see it is that everyone at a company has an opinion, imagine if we had all of Nintendo's thousands of employees all delivering different views to the media. A company has to stay on song, on message and that is why you have very specific people giving interviews. The official company view is important in how it relates to the market, to business and its consumers. So having low level employees airing dirty laundry is something that is usually frowned upon. I certainly have an even lower opinion of NOA after hearing about their Xenoblade decision and other things. I guess it's better to keep people guessing than to confirm your worst expectations.

Like what Konami is doing with Kojima.

I get that.

Still think its kind of shitty that they fired the dude...unless he has done this before. He should have just got a warning.

That's what I thought at first too but then that kind of gives a signal to other employee's that they can do it and get away with it. At least once.

What he did was really extreme. I don't think there's any way you can get out of that with a warning. His Facebook post is so sad, though. Sad

If anyone is to blame but he himself, it's the podcast. Either they're very ignorant, or don't care about getting a gullible dude fired for hits.

I think we saw with Dan Adleman, Nintendo expects you to keep it shut when you work for them, or ge lost. He quit because he wasn't allowed to post a personal twitter about the work he was doing.

IMO Nintendo are a little TOO quiet on things, to the point of being comical. You might think they were a top secret weapons tech lab.

That's why we never heard shit out of Rare guys until they split from Nintendo....they got a lot more chatty after that. And no doubt that's why we never hear a fucking THING out of Retro Studios...not even a "hey guys just an update on our new game" or anything even close.

Some of the only Genesis games I have right now are PS 2, 3, AND 4. And I have PSO for both Dreamcast and XBOX (though I can't play the XBOX version because I don't have an online account on my system Sad.....)

I played the shit out of that game on the Dreamcast....an unhealthy amount. Sometimes I would play until 7am which was unheard of for me back then.....3am was late to be gaming for me. Sucks I lost contact with all the cool people I used to play with. I used to game with some asian chick from Cali who wanted to have my babies. Good times.

I'd love them to make a proper sequel to PSO, and a proper new single-player game. But, I'd love SEGA to do many things.

Playing Resident Evil 2 on N64.

I had no idea this version had extra story files you can collect! Awesome!

Also....I came up with a scenario for the remake that would have people shit themselves. In the 2nd floor hallway next to the STARS Office, there is a bench with a pair of handcuffs attached to a rail.

I propose this: you walk into the hall & hear gunfire around the corner followed by a girl yelling for help & zombies moaning for flesh. You run over blasting caps, save the girl who had just run out of ammo. And it turns out to be.....

ELZA WALKER FROM RE 1.5!!!

She was chained up there by an officer "for her own safety" who then came back to eat her out.

Then Elza tells you her story and ends up with a big sub story in the game.

I can't believe this got no reaction from Vader or any old school RE fans here. Fuck I thought this was a great idea! Just pretend my name is Mikami...then you will see the greatness in this idea!
