It's a bit harsh on Devils Third to compare it to that game. Disaster Day of Crisis was a massive pick and mix bag of sweets, with wildly differing gameplay scenarios that were enjoyable, despite their - well because of their ridiculousness. Saving several Labradors Independance Day Style, or shooting a Bear with a rocket launcher - fighting through 2 different volcanic eruptions.  It's like a hilarious tribute to 24. There's even a Metal Gear boss near the end.

Devils Third is basically Ninja Gaiden with gunplay and with some multiplayer thrown in. I was pretty suprised by the trailer today, it looks a lot more polished than last E3, cleaned up nicely, frame rate is sorted out and the controls look precise enough. It reminds me of an old arcade game or something that Capcom would have made 7 or 8 years ago - and I don't mean that in a bad way. When I was watching it, with Itagaki in a darkened room, I was nostalgic about how Japanese auteurs used to be who we'd all look to and be excited about in gaming. The game looks distinctly like the sort of stuff the Japanese do well, a bit cheesy, a bit fun, a bit kickass, a bit stupid.

What's everybody looking forward to seeing or hearing about? For me, its the following:

• Some info at least, on the Nintendo NX
• Logitech to reveal the PS4 racing wheel so I can get heavily into racing games again
• Mass Effect 4
• Fallout 4
• Retro Studios? Possibly this year?
• That Xbone game Platinum is making...Scalebound?
• More stuff on Zelda, Xenoblade 2 and FF 15.....also Kingdom Hearts 3
• Yooka Laylee and Bloodstained
• Rare.....lets see if #1 they are making a real game, and #2 if they still have the talent to MAKE a real game
• More info on the big titles we know of, and hopefully some surprises

I want to see something from Retro that doesn't involve Donkey or Diddy Kong. Either Metroid or a new IP.  I'd really love to see an HD Prime. More Zelda, please and confirmation that it is coming to the U.  More Tomb Raider. Maybe a new God of War and a Gears 4 reveal.
