Crazy idea for anyone that has the means to do what I suggest. If you'd like to have an idea about how Hyrule Warriors is going to play in the long run, check out Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate for the PS4. It's not the typical Dynasty Warriors game because it has demons and monsters, not just military troops. Hyrule is basically a re-skinning of this game for the Wii U. Although most everyone would be more familar with Zelda characters and settings, the games are going to play the same, only difference being Orochi has over 100 playable characters, so there's bound to be characters in it that play identically to those in Hyrule Warriors. I don't know if this is true of Hyrule or not, but in Orochi there's actually a Diablo style weapon system where different attributes can be forged to your weapons like Fire, Wind, Extra Experience, Drain Life, etc, etc. If you're into fighting games mixed with strategy mixed with loot style weaponry, Orochi may be worth checking out even above and beyond Hyrule!

I've never played any of those games before, but I'm certainly more open to playing now.  Is there a demo...I'll need a ps4 Sad

There's also a Warriors Orochi 3 out for the Wii U. The PS4 version is the "Ultimate" version, but the Wii U version plays the same; keep in mind though, the Wii U displays far LESS enemies on the screen at once compared to the PS4 version.

The case of the Ebay Diesel Tshirt is closed. Giant douche opened a case saying it was fake, then didn't reply to his own case for a solid month so Ebay finally closed the case in my favour.

I got to watch those later.

Makes me feel really old seeing these kids interacting with old tech. I binged on these videos yesterday and when they were slagging off the Walkman I was like... fuck you!!! This was the first time we had portable music. Ungracious kids! *waves walking stick*

Then I was seeing some weird Doctor Who love and that series started before I was born, let alone them (the kids)

Miyamoto said:

During Nintendo’s most recent shareholders meeting in July, Shigeru Miyamoto made a few comments about the games on display at E3.

“This year, the majority of what the other developers exhibited was bloody shooter software that was mainly set in violent surroundings or, in a different sense, realistic and cool worlds,” Miyamoto said at the time. “Because so many software developers are competing in that category, it seemed like most of the titles at the show were of that kind.”

In this month’s issue of EDGE, Miyamoto was asked to follow up on his comments. He stated, “I have not been fully satisfied with the inspirations that I have or that other people in the industry have in general.” Miyamoto also mentioned that industry trends are emphasized over “the creator’s individuality and uniqueness”, and that “the industry has a long way to go.”

Check out all of Miyamoto’s comments below – they’re quite interesting to say the least!

Oh, I’ve made quite the grand statement, haven’t I? My comment was based upon the fact that I have not been fully satisfied with the inspirations that I have or that other people in the industry have in general. I feel that industry trends, rather than the creator’s individuality and uniqueness, tend to be prioritized. When the people who manage the development budget take the lead in making a game, creators tend to make games that are already popular in the marketplace. Even when there is opportunity for young developers to make something freely, they tend to make similar proposals. I can’t help but feel that the industry has a long way to go. I hope Nintendo will always be a company that aggressively invests in something new – something born from each creator’s individual characteristics.

^ Which explains why every Nintendo published game feels like it was made by Miyamoto. Because they nurture the uniqueness of each developer's personality.

Says the man that works at the company that only makes sequels. Nyaa

Yes yes I know they have original games to and their sequels expand on new game ideas.

I'd ask you what those offending lyrics were but it might get you arrested.

I spent most of the afternoon yesterday playing Civ V. Then I played a couple Dota games because I'm doing the 108-hero Challenge (to win one matchmaking game with each hero in a specific order). It's pretty telling that my next gaming-related purchases in the foreseeable future are going to be Civ V DLC or Dota 2 hero sets/couriers.

I also tried installed Van Helsing. I dunno what to think.

You've become a real Hermit (PC) guy these days.  Any plans to get a new console?
